1 (Annexure II ) Small Ambulance Fabrication specifications of Work Involved in Making Interior of Small Ambualnce - Base vehicle -Ambulance Model only * This is Broad Description of the Facilities to help derive Bill of material Involved. SL No Work Involved Unit Q'ty Material Quality and Description of work To be reinforced with steel rib cage and all Interiors, internal sides, cover to close the wheel hump and ceiling should be paneled in Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) minimum 3mm thick, Chopped Strand Mat / Isophelic Polyesters / Gel Coat (Naphtha / Saint Gobain or equivalent) with superior quality painting. Dual insulations - PUFF 1 Wall Panalling and Square / PU insulations and thermocol 200 FRP work Feet insulations 40mm thick for reduction of heat and noise within the patient compartment, insulating material should be non-toxic, non-settling type, vermin proof, mild dew proof and non hygroscopic body and paneling provided. A seamless appearance and finish is desirable to keep the ambulance bacteria free in services. All the Panels, Parts Mounted and Provision for Medical 2 Equipments to be Mounted, shall have 4mm thick Mild Steel (MS Fe 410) sheet reinforced behind 3 Appropriate Reinforcements Flooring Square Feet Square Feet i) A water proof fire retardant marine ply board with 12mm thickness is to be used for flooring with maximum two joints coming around the centre of the body. The floor height needs to be increased (Filled) as per drawings. i) A non static, mark resistant, scuff proof and safety flooring material (LG-CS301 or EQUIVALENT APPROVED BY TECHNICAL COMMITTEE) to be glued properly without entrapped air bubbles and without any joints anywhere. Floor height to be raised as per the attached drawings.

2 4 Medical Cabinet 5 6 Transparent head rack above the patient area on Right Hand Side wall Attendant Seat over left wheel hump to accommodate two persons Cubic Feet Cubic Feet 20 Feet 3.5 ii) All floor level moldings, edging and trim shall be sealed to prevent fluids from seeping under cabinets, walls and ply board. iii) Proper Size stainless plate (0.8mm) to be provided (from LHS wheel hump to below the edge of the rear door), under the stretcher loading area to prevent scratches.. v) The SS sheet placed on floor should be fixed with flat head screws suitably placed to avoid any bulging of the sheet anywhere on edges or within. Made of approved quality/ renowned brand water proof and fire retardant ply boards/frp to be used for Medical rack as per the drawing. At ceiling to be integrated with roof. Made in FRP (min 3mm thick) and required reinforcement to be provided. ii) Inner surface is to be pasted with soft Heatlon sheet of 4mm thickness. Grab Rail made of Stainless steel pipe with proper supporting hinges, grab rail of 400mm to be placed near the LH door for easy entering. The Head rack should have suitable closures to cover the opening which are easy/comfortable to operate and do not have any sharp edge at the openings. The existing stretcher is to be removed and a squad bench shall be installed along the left hand wall end as per the attached drawings. Made of FRP (min 3mm) Box layer outside with the Mild steel (MS) 32mm angle frame reinforced within, to carry 250 kg weight and to be painted with PU paint.

3 7 EMT Seat 1 One EMT seat should be provided facing the stretcher with seat bottom Length =400mm, width =400mm and height=380mm,back Rest height=400mm, back rest thickness=25mm. The frame should be made of steel rods of 20mm dia and 1.5 mm wall. A minimum 50mm thick 50 or higher density Foam cushion to be provided for comfort. And the same should be upholstered with non absorbent Rexene of silver gray color. The seat should have Velcro Belts to fold it up. ii) S.S. Powder coated steel pipes of 20 mm dia & 1.5 mm wall thickness to be used. iii) It should have one waist seat belt.( aero plane model buckle type ) iv) A minimum 50mm thick 50 or higher density Foam cushion to be provided for comfort. v) And the same should be upholstered with non absorbent Rexene of silver gray color. 8 Two "B" Type Oxygen Cylinder Space and Oxygen Delivery System Nos 1 i) A door for the Trolley to be cut and fabricated with bonnet type locking with a opening lever in the driver compartment. ii) The Door opening lever should be below the driver seat with flexible wire cage which is firm and flexible without steep bend en route. iii) The Cylinder compartment should be properly sealed. Give provision for accommodating the B type cylinders. v) Complete oxygen cylinder compartment (SIX insides of the compartment) should be riveted with 1 mm thickness GI SHEET. Outer edges of the GI sheet to be welded with body to avoid sharp edges of GI sheet. vi) Three vents sizes 6 inches in length and one inch in height (from the centre of the door three inches LH side and three inches RH side) to be provided for

It should be a back pressure compensated; Stable suspending design for IV fluids (2.5 feet above the patient) One Concealed Portable Stainless Steel Dust Bins with spring loaded lids for waste disposal are provided. One External Charging Port with reputed quality Charger for charging Battery Externally on rear of the Vehicle A 20 Inches long pipe of 30mm dia. made of SS is placed as Grab Bar near the LHS rear door at LHS wall with firm support at the ends. One holding base clamp for holding Fire Extinguisher on Left Hand Side of the Attendant Seat to be provided. Provision with straps / Velcro tapes placing a fire extinguisher should be provided and placed as per drawing; All the rear side Windows should have non transparent white film pasted up to a height which is 50 mm more than half of the height of the window to avoid any visibility into the ambulance. Side windows (Both side ) and

5 15 Body Graphics: 16 Other General Instructions and Facilities Emergency Light bar: Spot Lights on both the sides and on Back Nos 1 Nos 3 left side door(second door) is to be closed fully with Metal sheet. Ambulance to be supplied with exterior design / painting as per GVK EMRI design. All vinyl / reflective stickers/ films of LG, 3M or equivalent to be used. Detailed drawing will be furnished. Gap between the FRP sheet and the vehicle body shell should be stuffed with (25mm thick) sand witch of PU foam and Thermocol sheets to reduce the heat transmission. Provision for placement of power switches / sockets/ fans/ air conditioner, telemedicine and for upgrading other electrical items shall be made available in paneled walls. Provision for I.V hooks & holders 1no. should be made on the ceiling. Adequate provision for safeguarding oxygen regulator on the right side panel. Adequate provision to securely hold spine Board along RHS wall over Wheel hump. Hand held suction mounting to be made. Space for Vehicle tool kit to be provided. Rhombic shaped, Double layered structure, Combination of continually lit, turning lamps, High quality tungsten bulbs and xenon lamp tubes (e.g. GRAND /SHOLPHIN). LED based configuration will be preferred but should be approved by EMRI committee. Long life span, high luminance, Voltage: DC 12V, Power: 92W + 18W, With integrated Public Addressing System of 100W (PMPO). (6Nos) high intensity Flashers, red-amber pair on either side, and both red on the rear of the vehicle. (3Nos) Spot / flood lights on three sides, except on the front, in the middle of each pair of

6 Flashers. 19 Clock: Nos Roof / Wall mounted fans Nos 1 All The main electrical Components like: Spot lights 2 DC (non-external lighting) (LUMAX /AUTOLITE/GRAND MAKE) OR EQUIVALENT AUTOMOBILE GRADE in ceiling inside the Patient compartment, equally placed. (1Nos) T5/CFL 40watt maximum tube lights with fixture and built in inverter 12V DC powered on the both sides for internal lighting each on a separate circuit. (METALITE OR ANY AUTOMOBILE GRADE) Voltage: 12V DC, Amps: 2.1, Lumens: V AC / 15 amp - 3 pin (2 Nos) and 12V DC-Round sockets (1 Nos) power source with Crabtree or equivalent modular switches. One External Charging Port with reputed quality Charger for charging Battery Externally on rear of the Vehicle One Mobile Charging Switch Socket assembly is to be provided in Pilot compartment. A digital clock is to be provided in the patient compartment. It should have a minimum Letter (font) Size of 50 to have better visibility; Exsiting both fans to be removed and same can be fitted at patient cabin after fabrication (a) Each of Internal Lightings LED Lights), (b) Internal Lightings (Spot Lights), (c) External Lights (Flashers (d) External Lights (Spot/Flood Lights), (e) Light Bars, (f) Each of Medical Equipments powering Sockets etc Should have separate circuits, (Power drawn Directly from source (with proper cut off switch after Battery/Inverter) and a Fuse in it). A laminated copy of standard wiring diagram should be provided with each ambulance for reference.

7 22 Fuse and Other Safety Measures: i) A separate Fuse to each of the (as mentioned above) circuits be given. ii) There should be an Indicator mark to each fuse on the fuse Box be given to identify the Fuse separately; iii) There should not be any joints be given within the Circuit Wiring, iv) At any unavoidable wiring junction(s) the wires should be joined through Bakelite Connectors only, v) There should not be any loose wiring and loose joints; vi) Other than vehicle wiring harnesses, all wires/harness used for should be ((Flexi Cab, Finolex or equivalent make) meant for automation applications. vii) All the electrical accessories should carry ISI Mark and be approved by technical committee and should be of (ARAI/ISI) automobile standards. viii) All other unspecified Parts necessary for the Wiring should be of Automobile grade and/or ISI Certified.

8 23 Air Conditioning System: i)roof Mounted Multi Flow Condenser (Length-minimum Subros/ carrier or Equivalentwith Fiber cowl, with Double Cooling Fans. (Refer drawing) ii). Only casting A/C compressor mounting brackets to be used. (Welding compressor mounting brackets are not allowed) iii) Double blower type Cooling Coil of reputed/renowned Indian brands Brand only to be used. iv). With engine driven compressor DKS17 of Subros / Valeo brand v) With 50mm ducts (ports) on the ceiling, in single row right hand side of the cabin to have six delivery ports of the patient cabin, with flaps to cover the ports, vi). Digital microprocessor based temperature controller should be provided with fully automatic PCB based power supply. vii) System suitable for Heat Load to draw heat from 10 cubic meter volume, (to bring down temp from 40 degree Celsius to degree Celsius in 20 mints). viii) Condenser fan should be cover with FRP and front with aluminum mesh. 24 Inverter i. True sine wave inverter, ii. The Inverter should be of well known brands like SUKAM, Luminous iii. Inverter Capacity watts / 800 VA, iv. Input Range - AC 130 v-270v / DC 9.5V V, v. Frequency - 50 Hz and Power Factor vii. Output Voltage - 220(+/-)10% (regulated output from full charge battery voltage to low charged battery voltage) viii. Waveform - Single Pulse PWM ix. Efficiency - 85% x. Charger - Heavy duty CC/CV type with current limit at 12A

9 with wide input range (150V- 270A) xi. Integrated AC/DC supply inside the vehicle synchronous with alternator. xii. 10 Meter length three core 10 gauge charging wire with male three pin ends to be provided xiii. Provision to be made to charge the batteries placed inside the driver's cabin with external AC power. 25 Battery 12V 100AH one battery with two year warranty is to be fitted for inverter (Please refer the drawing for place of fitment)
