5 MgicPilot Control Pnel 1 MgicPilot Control Pnel Prerequisite Preprtions USB stick with current softwre nd dditionl content. After replcing the control pnel or control ord, softwre updte is solutely necessry. Otherwise, the unit is not functionl (see "Softwre updte" in the service instructions). Prepre the new control pnel. Affix the included foil (c). De-energize unit. Unlock nd open control pnel. c Dismounting Disconnect ll lines on the control pnel. Remove the SD crd (). Remove control pnel y lifting (). Only for units with optionl rdio scnner: Dismount USB Bluetooth receiver. is done in the reverse order. Insert the SD crd removed previously. Close the control pnel y repetedly pressing the left side (prticulrly in the upper left). The control pnel snps in noticely t multiple points. Perform the softwre updte ccording to the service instructions. Instll dditionl content ccording to service instructions. WARNING Dnger of short-circuit due to penetrting moisture Only operte unit with foil on top. Ensure tht the control pnel is completely locked. Assemly instructions 5

Otherwise, the unit is not functionl (see "Softwre updte" in the service instructions). Preprtions De-energize unit. Unlock nd open control pnel. Insofr s possile, dismount the left side pnel. Dismounting Disconnect ll connectors from the control ord. Lel sensor lines nd communiction lines if necessry. Dismount the control ord y unlocking the plstic clips (, ). Dismount the grounding screw nd strin relief. Remove the control ord. Remove the digitl key nd plug in on new control ord. Assemly instructions 7

9 Control ord INFORMATION The unit only functions with the digitl key. WARNING Fults due to incorrect temperture sensor configurtion X25, X26 nd X27 hve identicl connectors. Ensure correct configurtion on connection (c). WARNING Fults due to incorrect configurtion of the communiction lines for 20.x pedestl units The lines for motors nd ignition electronics hve identicl connectors. Ensure correct configurtion on connection (e, f). is done in the reverse order. Close the control pnel y repetedly pressing the left side (prticulrly in the upper left). The control pnel snps in noticely t multiple points. Perform the softwre updte ccording to the service instructions. Only for units with touchscreen: Execute "Restore dt" on the service menu. 10 Cooking chmer sensors 4 Cooking chmer sensors Preprtions Disconnect unit from the power supply. Unlock nd open control pnel. Remove the left nd right side pnels. Dismounting / Remove cooking chmer sensors from control ord. Configurtion: X25: cooking chmer sensor B2 (for 20.x upper sensor) X26: cooking chmer sensor B3 (only for 20.x, lower sensor) Dismount strin relief. The sensor line is lid in hose ehind the cooking chmer. The cooking chmer sensor is mounted on the right pnel of the cooking chmer. Loosen sensor screws nd pull out cooking chmer sensor (, ). Fsten the new sensor to the existing sensor in order to use it s strin relief. Pull sensor through hose. Push cooking chmer sensor through the Teflon sleeve nd tighten the sensor screw (, ). Plug cooking chmer sensor into control ord nd mount strin relief. Bend cooking chmer sensor slightly upwrd in order to void drop formtion on the test prod. Sensor connections on Control ord Correct sensor mounting. No r of the protective sket my point upwrd. Incorrect sensor mounting. Mount the side pnels. 11 Core temperture sensor 5 Core temperture sensor Preprtions Disconnect unit from the power supply. Unlock nd open control pnel. Only for 20.x pedestl units: dismount the left side pnel. Dismounting / Disconnect the core temperture sensor from the control ord. Configurtion: X24: core temperture sensor B1 Dismount strin relief. Unit vrints 6.x, 10.x Loosen sensor screw from the front. Pull core temperture sensor out of the cooking chmer side. Unit vrint 20.x Loosen sensor screw on the left side. Pull core temperture sensor out of the cooking chmer side. is done in the reverse order. Close the control pnel y pressing. Mount side pnel. 12 Moisture sensor 6 Moisture sensor Preprtions Dismounting Disconnect unit from the power supply. Unlock nd open control pnel. Remove the left side pnel. Remove moisture sensor from the control ord. Configurtion: X28: moisture sensor B5 Dismount strin relief. The moisture sensor is in the lower re on the supply ir pipe. Loosen sensor screw (). Pull moisture sensor out (). Sensor connections on Control ord Push moisture sensor through Teflon sleeve (). Tighten sensor screw (). Plug moisture sensor into control ord nd mount strin relief. Mount side pnel. 13 Vpor sensor 7 Vpor sensor Preprtions Dismounting Disconnect unit from the power supply. Unlock nd open control pnel. Remove the left side pnel. Remove vpor sensor from control ord. Configurtion: X27: vpor sensor B4 Dismount strin relief. Sensor connections on Control ord Units with utomtic WveClen clening system The wter vpor sensor is on the left side of the siphon. Loosen screw connection nd remove sensor (, ). Units without utomtic WveClen clening system The vpor sensor is in the drin re under the cooking chmer. Remove protective cover y dismounting the screws (c). c Loosen screw connection nd remove sensor (e, d). d e is done in the reverse order. Close the control pnel y pressing. Assemly instructions 13
14 Reed contct switch 8 Reed contct switch Preprtions Disconnect unit from the power supply. Dismounting for units with cooking chmer door hooked into the right Unlock nd open control pnel. Disconnect connector X21 from the reed contct switch of the control ord. Dismount screws nd remove reed contct switch (, ). Dismounting for units with cooking chmer door hooked into the left Remove the right side pnel. Dismount screws nd remove mounting plte with reed contct switch (). Loosen screws for mounting plte nd remove reed contct switch (). Unplug lines from plug connector. is done in the reverse order. Close the control pnel y pressing. 14 Assemly instructions
15 Pressure switch 9 Pressure switch Preprtions Disconnect unit from the power supply. Shut off customer-supplied wter supply on the soft wter connection. Reduce wter pressure in the supply line. Remove the left side pnel. Dismounting Unplug oth connectors from the pressure switch (). Pull retiner clip out (). Remove pressure switch. is done in the reverse order. Assemly instructions 15
16 Steming unit 10 Steming unit Preprtions Dismounting Disconnect unit from the power supply. Shut off customer-supplied wter supply on the soft wter connection. Reduce wter pressure in the supply line. Remove the left side pnel. Dismount connectors on oth mgnetic vlves. Unplug connector from the pressure switch () (if present). Dismount connection nut (). Dismount wter supply. Dismount oth screws on the unit ottom (c) Remove steming unit nd tke over mounting plte on the new steming unit. c d c is done in the reverse order. 17 Mgnetic vlve wter vpor elimintion 11 Mgnetic vlve wter vpor elimintion Preprtions Disconnect unit from the power supply. Block customer-supplied wter supply. Reduce wter pressure in the supply line. Remove the left side pnel. Dismounting for units with hnd shower Unplug connector from mgnetic vlve (). Loosen clmp nd remove hose (). Loosen connection nut nd remove mgnetic vlve (c). c Dismounting for units without hnd shower Unplug connector from mgnetic vlve (). Loosen clmp nd remove hose (). Dismount wter supply. Dismount oth screws on the unit ottom (e). Remove mgnetic vlve nd mounting plte (d). Pull out sieve nd clen if necessry (f). d e f is done in the reverse order. 18 Solenoid 12 Solenoid Preprtions Dismounting Disconnect unit from the power supply. Remove the left side pnel. Loosen threded cle connection (). Loosen clmps (). Pull silicone hose (c) upwrd. c Dismount screws (d). Remove solenoid (e). Dismount solenoid mechnics (f). d e f is done in the reverse order. If necessry, replce sel # (h). Work on these components during opertion nd up to 3 minutes fter enling is not llows. Even if the motor is stopped nd the pplince is de-energized, the connection terminls nd components cn conducted dngerous voltge! Dismounting 6.x, 10.x Disconnect unit from the power supply. Remove the left side pnel. Dismount screws (). Remove power ord with cooling elements. The cooling element is component of the ssemly. Loosen ll electricl connections from the power ord. Dismounting 20.x The unit vrint hs two identicl power ords. Dismount screws of the pproprite power ord (). Remove power ord with cooling elements. The cooling element is component of the ssemly. 20 Semiconductor rely (SSR) 14 Semiconductor rely (SSR) Preprtions Disconnect unit from the power supply. Remove the left side pnel. Dismounting 6.x, 10.x Dismount screws (). Remove cooling elements with semiconductor rely upwrd. Dismount screws from semiconductor rely to e replced nd remove. Dismount lines. Dismounting 20.x The unit vrint hs four semiconductor relys. The dismounting is identicl to the unit vrint 6.x, 10.x. = semiconductor rely for upper heting circuit c = semiconductor rely for lower heting circuit c is done in the reverse order. 20 Assemly instructions
21 Fn motor 15 Fn motor Preprtions Dismounting Disconnect unit from the power supply. Remove the left side pnel. Remove ir diverter in the cooking chmer. Wer gloves when performing mounting work. Heed notes from the puller used. Dismount fstening screw (). Remove fn impeller from the conicl motor shft with threeleg puller or segment puller (). Gsket of the xle is loose. For this, loosen ll four screws one turn piece (c). c Assemly instructions 21
22 Fn motor Remove electricl connections from the motor. Loosen hoses fstened on the motor. Remove nuts nd remove motor (d). d d Remove shft sel y loosening the screws. Remove shft sel (e). e is done in the reverse order. Replce shft sel # Mount xle sel loosely. Do not tighten screws. Apply specil grese (temperture-resistnt, food sfe) on motor shft (only pply thin cot, not in the re of the xle cone). Fsten motor with nuts (d) crosswise. Tightening torque 20 Nm. Fsten xle sel from the cooking chmer side. Turn motor shft nd tighten the four screws crosswise so they re hnd-tight. Insert the fn impeller nd mount the impeller fstening screw. Tightening torque 35 Nm. Mke the electricl connections for the motor. Fsten hoses to motor gin. Finl function check. Mount ir diverter nd left side pnel. 22 Assemly instructions
23 Heting element 16 Heting element Preprtions De-energize unit. Remove the left side pnel. Unlock nd open ir diverter. Dismounting Dismount lines from semiconductor rely (). Disconnect line from contctor Q1, terminl 5L3 (). Dismount screw from wter intke pipe in the cooking chmer (c). Disconnect wter intke pipe. Dismount ll nuts from the heting element (d). c d Assemly instructions 23

The sel on the flnge must e replced. notes for screw connections Use nti-seize mounting pste for the nuts on the heting element. 33 Cooking chmer door 21 Cooking chmer door Preprtions Close the cooking chmer door. Mrk position of upper door hinge. This mkes it esier to set the new cooking chmer door. Dismounting Dismount screws (). Remove door hinge (). Open cooking chmer door. Unhook cooking chmer door. Loosen screws (). Remove cover (). Loosen the three screws from the door ltch. Remove door ltch together with door hndle. is done in the reverse order. Glue screws of the door ltch with screw locking dhesive. Secure sel of the cooking chmer door. The gp etween housing nd cooking chmer door is 12 mm. Assemly instructions 33

Dismount oth screws. Remove trnsformer. Dismounting 20.x The unit vrint hs two trnsformers: Upper trnsformer for glow electrode of upper urner. Lower trnsformer for glow electrode of lower urner. Unplug connector from trnsformer. Dismount oth screws. Remove trnsformer. is done in the reverse order. Assemly instructions 35
36 Gs solenoid vlve 24 Gs solenoid vlve Preprtions De-energize unit. Shut off the gs supply. Remove the left side pnel. Dismounting Loosen screws nd remove cover (). Remove electricl connections. Remove ignition electronics from the mgnetic vlve. Remove supply pipe from Venturi pipe (). Remove screws from Venturi pipe (c). Remove mgnetic vlve. Dismount gs hose (d). Remove gs orifice with sel (e, f). c f e d note for screw connections is done in the reverse order. Screws for gs hose (d): - Glue in with screw locking (e.g. Loctite 586) - Tighten with tightening torque 3 Nm. Screws for Venturi pipe (c): - Mount with nti-seize pste - Tighten with tightening torque 3 Nm. WARNING Risk of sphyxition nd explosion from dmged sels Check sels for dmge. Replce dmged sels. WARNING Risk of explosion nd fire from leking, gs-conducting prts Heed tightening torques for the screw connections. 38 Gs fn 25 Gs fn Preprtions Dismounting De-energize unit. Shut off the gs supply. Remove the left side pnel. If necessry, dismount the exhust pipe in the unit. Dismount the gs solenoid vlve (see 24 Gs solenoid vlve, Pge 36). Loosen screws nd remove the Venturi pipe (). Unplug connector from gs fn (). Remove screws from gs fn (d). Loosen screws of gs fn (c). Remove gs fn towrd the ottom. c d is done in the reverse order. Both sels must e replced (e). e note for screw connections For ll screws, use nti-seize mounting pste. Screws for Venturi pipe (): - Tighten with tightening torque 3 Nm. Screws for gs fn (c, d): - Tighten with tightening torque 5 Nm. 38 Assemly instructions

Dismount the gs solenoid vlve (see 24 Gs solenoid vlve, Pge 36). Dismount the gs fn (see 25 Gs fn, Pge 38). Dismounting Dismount nuts nd Venturi pipe (). Unplug connectors of the glow electrodes from the trnsformer. Remove gs urner. is done in the reverse order. Both sels must e replced (). note for screw connections For ll nuts, use nti-seize mounting pste. Nuts for gs urner (): - Tighten with tightening torque 6 Nm. Dismount the gs solenoid vlve (see 24 Gs solenoid vlve, Pge 36). Dismount the gs fn (see 25 Gs fn, Pge 38). Dismount the gs urner (see 26 Gs urner, Pge 40). Dismounting Loosen threded cle connection nd pull out lines. Glow electrode Dismount nuts nd glow electrode (). Ioniztion electrode Dismount nuts nd remove ioniztion electrode (). note for screw connections is done in the reverse order. The cle feedthrough must e replced. For ll nuts, use nti-seize mounting pste. 42 Assemly instructions
