3 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WARNING - To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect power before cleaning or servicing. CAUTION - Cables and wiring must be routed away from edges and other parts which may cause damage to cables and wiring. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS 3

4 GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS WARNING This unit must be grounded. In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This unit is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. DANGER Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. The conductor with insulation having an outer surface that is green with or without yellow stripes is the equipmentgrounding conductor. If repair or replacement of the plug is necessary, do not connect the equipment-grounding conductor to a live terminal. Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions are not completely understood, or if in doubt as to whether the unit is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the unit if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. This unit is for use on a nominal 120 V circuit, and has a grounding plug that appears as shown below. GROUNDING PLUG This unit is factory-equipped with a specific electric cord and plug. No adapter should be used with this unit. If the unit must be reconnected for use on a different type of electric circuit, the reconnection should be made by qualified service personnel; and after the reconnection, the unit should comply with all local codes and ordinances. 4

5 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Review packaging list against the order and the material received. Check all cartons for freight damage. Any which show damage must be noted on the bill of lading before signing. Request damage claim from freight carrier. If damage is concealed, save packing material and request an on-site carrier inspection and claim. 2. Set Kiosk in place. 3. Remove knock-out from the side of Kiosk to which the Set Aside will be attached. Insert the supplied rubber grommet into the knock-out opening. KIOSK KNOCK-OUT 5

6 4. Set Aside may be installed to either the right or left side of the Kiosk. Attach Set Aside to Kiosk unit using four (4) ¼-20 screws. The screws are preinstalled in the Kiosk. Remove the Set Aside s door panel. Remove the four screws from the Kiosk, align screw holes in Set Aside with holes in Kiosk. Reinstall screws through the Set Aside into the Kiosk. 7 PROVIDING POWER TO THE UNIT 1. Attach the power pole to the unit through one of the two openings on the top deck of the Set Aside. A cover Plate and screws are provided to cover the unused opening. 2. Electrician required to make field wiring connection into field wiring boxes located in the Set Aside. See below and next page for electrical & wiring diagrams and parts list. CLEAN POWER, REQUIRES 15A, DEDICATED BRANCH CIRCUIT WITH ISOLATED GROUND. 7

9 3. Route the Kiosk power cord through the knock-out and into the Set Aside cabinet. Connect to the 15A receptacle in the Set Aside. SECURE THE UNIT IN PLACE 1. Use the eight anchor bolts and washers provided to secure the unit to the floor. Install four bolts and washers to the base of both The Kiosk and Set Aside. ATTACH THE SIGN 1. Remove the four screws holding the cover plate in place and set the cover plate aside. Retain the four screws. COVER PLATE IS HELD IN PLACE WITH FOUR SCREWS. 9

10 2. Mount the sign to rear side of Kiosk via four screws (included) where indicated below. Install screws through the sign and into the corresponding holes in Kiosk. 3. Replace cover plate and secure using the four screws removed in Step 1. 10
