4 10 OPERATING PRINCIPLE Turbine flow meters are provided with a rotor which rotates when the fluid applies a force to the rotor's blade. Rotational speed is proportional to the flow, so volume of fluid will de determined by rotor's speed. In order to know speed of rotor, a sensor detects each pass of the blade. The frequency of pulses of the sensor determines the flow passing through. METER ASSEMBLY Better use a straight pipe for meter assembly with the same internal diameter than the meter and no less than 5 times the diameter at outlet point, and 10 times at inlet. The placement of the meter in the pipe is indicated by means of an arrow printed on meter's body. The arrow also indicates the direction of the fluid. OPTIONS Liquid temperature up to 90ºC, 120ºC, 150ºC and ºC. This voltage is proportional to speed and therefore, proportional to the flow. 8 14 Turbine meters MAIN ADVANTAGES MODEL TX FEATURES The TX flow meter is G-FLOW s answer to the market demands, asking for a reliable, accurate and inexpensive flow meter for the measuring of corrosive liquids. It s a paddle turbine flow meter. The flow sensor consists of a transducer and an open-cell paddle wheel. When immersed in the flow, the rotating paddle-wheel produces a frequency modulated measuring signal proportional to the flow. The TX model offers an effect Hall pulse output. Optionally it can provide a display and a 4-20 maoutput. Flow range varies from 500 L/h in the smallest sized models up to more than 3000 m3/h in the largest. 10 CEB09 indicates in the display volume and flow rates. It is compatible with the following pulse emitters: CEB09, CEB09/SI, SCEB9 and SCEB09/SI: NAMUR, REED, PNP, NPN, ENCODER CEB09/SIA and SCEB09/SIA: NAMUR, HALL, REED, PNP, NPN, ENCODER Sensor sends pulses out to the flow rate indicator. By means of the constant pulses/liter (number of pulses per liter), the reading device indicates: TOTAL VOLUME of liters measured from the beginning of the operation.
