3 1. ABOUT SC Valve SPECIAL VALVE. Brief History SC SPECIAL VALVE is the leader in manufacturing of industrial valves since 2001 with the brand name MTM Valve. We have in-house manufacturing facilities with all the State of the art modern technologies to meet the highest standards of product quality. Our manufacturing facilities are located in the industrial city of BUSAN, South Korea. SC Valve started its first production of BALL valves and Strainer valves and supplied. Since 2002 we have been delivering our valves to customers world wide. We have successfully served to Petrochemical Plants, Refineries, Power plants, and Fertilizers, Atomic Energy Plants, Marine, Steel another industrial process applications. 3

4 SC Valve manufacturing units are equipped with modern facilities including special-purpose machines, automatic welding equipments, radial drilling machines, high speed lathe machines, boring machines, upright drilling machines, milling machines, gauging machines, CNC machines, vertical lathe machines, helium detectors and testing equipment for total control of all manufacturing operations. Based on our vast experience and continuous research and development, SC Valve SPECIAL VALVE has become one of the leading manufacturers of metal seated high temperature valves. We have developed project management expertise to ensure that deliveries precisely match your project schedules. 4

9 3. DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT Our Valves are Developed and Controlled by the valve design team based in BUSAN, Korea. The designs meet the requirements of international standards and customer specifications. Our Design Department is equipped with the latest Auto CAD design software for 2-D drafting and 3-D Modeling. Structural calculations, finite element analysis (FEA), Dynamic Analysis and product validation are also done with advanced software when appropriate. Special Valves are developed to suit customer requirements. These designs are created by a team of engineers experienced in the valve design technology. SC Valve has designed special valves for temperature service : * 2-Way Metal Seated BALL Valve * 3-Way Metal / Resilient seat BALL valve * 3-Way Metal / Resilient seat Butterfly valve * Cryogenic Valves 9

10 4. Manufacturing & Quality Manufacturing Our Manufacturing Plant is located in industrial city of BUSAN, South Korea close to BUSAN Airport. The nearest International Airport is BUSAN, and by road, the journey from BUSAN Airport to the plant takes around one hour. The Facility is designed for high volume production and equipped with CNC machines, VTLs, automated welding machines, noncompression test stands and a modern paint shop. SC Valve has the capability to design and manufacture the high pressure classes and Metal Seated valves to meet the customer requirements 10

12 Test & Qualification Facilities Our manufacturing units are equipped with testing and qualification facilities for various functional and prototype tests. Non-Destructive Test NDT is carried out by ASNT level II qualified personnel : Non-destructive testing methods are used to examine a valve. They identify the cracks in the body, discontinuities in the material include porosity, wall thinning from corrosion and other sorts of disbands. Radiographic tests are used for volumetric casting defects Ultrasonic tests are used for forging defects Magnetic particle test and liquid penetration tests are used for surface defects 12

13 Surface test Used to detect blow, scar, and blister on surface of casting - Magnetic particle test and liquid penetration test are used for surface casting defects. Fugitive Emission Test Fugitive emission tests to evaluate the amount of fugitive emission leakage through the stem gland packing and shell joints 13

List Of Certificates Quality The quality management system of the plant has been certified to comply with ISO The QMS, designed and implemented to ensures that all products meet international standards as well as customer specifications. SC Valve committed to total customer satisfaction and deliver products that comply with all relevant codes and standards and meet customer expectations Quality of raw materials and components are assured using a stringent vendor selection and management system. Castings are procured only from selected sources, our inspectors are monitoring the process and casting quality. 27
