2 LATEST ADDITIONS TO OUR SPECIALIST LOW GROUND PRESSURE FLEET 3 BRAND NEW HYDREMA 922D TRUCKS! AJK are pleased to announce the addition of 3 brand new Hydrema 922D 22t trucks to their fleet, increasing the total number of 22t trucks to 9. We have specified the machines with the low flotation 800mm tyres and hydraulic tailgate. When fitted with the LGP tyres the trucks have a ground bearing pressure when fully loaded of only 11.9 psi. The 922D comes with hydraulic front suspension and an air seat for excellent driver comfort and can tip a full load in under 7 seconds for ultra quick working cycles. The extra wide 800mm floatation tyres and unique rear bogie axle of the Hydrema 922D allows it to run across wet and boggy terrain. The rear bogie axle allows much greater independent wheel movement than conventional rigid axles and therefore better wheel contact with the ground. A fully laden ground pressure of only 11.9 psi and fuel economy of only 14 litres per hour make the 922D one of the most economic and productive trucks available today. The project has been the ideal for AJK as their contracting knowledge and experience combined with the LGP machines have proved highly advantageous. Our machines can use Bio-oil and are thoroughly maintained to offer minimal contamination risk when working in delicate environmental surroundings. Most of our machines are under 3 years old and so benefit from modern fuel efficiency & technology. Our team of elite operators ensure the machines are used to their greatest potential when working in extremely delicate or hazardous conditions, although qualified operators and contractors can certainly achieve noticeable results on a self drive basis.
