6 Maintenance Assist Vehicle (MAV) Highway s High Lift Key Features Servicing, repair and replacement of AMIs Safe working area Unique product for the market Emtek s Maintenance Assist Vehicle (MAV) provides a safe way of accessing overhead gantries for servicing, repair and replacement of Advanced Motorway Indicators (AMIs) on the UK s roads. As there is complete restricted access on the lightweight gantries, the MAV allows workers to remove the AMIs in a safe and secure environment. The workforce is currently restricted to 10mph wind speeds, whereas the MAV can work under conditions up to 50mph. Designed to give motorway service providers a secure way of carrying out work under shelter, it can also carry up to five AMI units at any one time. The extending bridge and lanyards increase the safe working area and the built-in lighting allows you to continue working at night.
