E&G Clas sics will not war rant dam aged parts or the ve hi cle due to altered in stal la tion procedures Open the hood and remove the plastic push pins across the front of the bumper cover using a plastic clip removal tool to lift up on the center of the push pin and lift the push pins out of the holes in the radiator support panel cover/air filter intake. Remove the cover/air intake. IMPORTANT: Do not pry the pins out using the bumper cover as leverage or you will damage the paint! 2. Lift up on the factory rubber trim at the top of the front fenders to expose the small blue clips retaining the plastic sections to the tops of the fenders. Press in on the clip and lift the panel up for the following bolt and retaining bracket removal Remove two (2) additional 10mm bolts from the top of the bumper cover. Once the bolts have been removed, remove the black brackets securing the top edges of the bumper cover to the front fenders. 4. Apply automotive grade masking tape to the bumper cover and front fenders (where shown) to protect the paint. Visit us online today at

2 Remove the 10mm bolts from the bottom of the bumper cover where it attaches to the aero pan. 6. Using a flat blade screwdriver or clip removal tool, remove the plastic push fastener in the front of the wheel opening (one each side) Pull the wheel liner away from the front fender/bumper cover seam and remove the 10mm hex head screw retaining the bumper cover to the front fender Pull out on the bumper cover to release the clips between the bumper cover and the front fenders, then pull forward to release the clips under the headlight assemblies With the help of an assistant, pull the bumper cover out far enough to disconnect the electrial connectors and place the bumper cover onto a clean, flat work area. Remove the 10mm hex nuts from around the perimeter of the grille. Push in on the centers of the mounting tabs to release the grille from the bumper cover. 10. Turn the bumper over and remove the factory grille from the front. Remove the factory grille insert from the chrome surround, then remove the emblem and park assist camera (if equipped) from the grille insert (not shown). Visit us online today at

3 Apply additional masking tape to protect the paint on the bumper cover. Turn the bumper cover face down for the following template alignment / hole drilling procedure. 12. Cut out the hole location templates on the last page of this instruction manual. Align the templates where shown and use an awl or similar pointed tool to mark the hole locations on the inside of the bumper cover The lower grille top edge template is the only template that requires cutting, overlapping and taping together prior to use. Once the hole locations have been marked with an awl or similar pointed tool, drill through the marks made with a 1/8 drill bit, then enlarge the holes to 5/ For vehicles painted colors other than black or dark blue: Apply masking tape 1/4 inside the edge of the grille opening. Use a scotch brite pad or extra fine sandpaper to scuff the exposed paint on the bumper cover that will be visible through the mesh grille once it is installed. Apply semi-gloss black paint as shown Apply semi-gloss black paint to everything that would be visible through the mesh grille once it is installed. 16. Align the factory emblem through the opening in the mesh section and align the emblem retainer over the back of the emblem. Push the emblem mounting tabs though the slots in the retainer to secure the emblem to the mesh (regular mesh shown, Stacked mesh similar). Visit us online today at

4 Align the upper mesh over the back of the factory chrome surround, making sure it is perfectly centered. 18. Adjust the mesh section top to bottom so that the notched openings on the bottom edge of the mesh section are aligned as shown (each side) Install a black rectangular mesh retainer and a #8 x 1/2 black truss head screw into the side screw bosses on the factory chrome surround. 20. Use a 1/8 drill bit to drill a mounting hole through the upper factory grille insert clip retainers and install a black rectangular mesh retainer with a #8 x 3/8 black truss head screw at each factory retainer to secure the upper portion of the mesh section to the factory chrome surround. 21 C B C A 21. Align the upper mesh upper retainer (prototype version shown) across the top of the factory surround. Reinstall the factory screws removed from the outer screw bosses to hold the retainer in place during the following installation procedure. 22. Install the park assist camera onto the supplied mounting bracket using the supplied #8 x 3/8 black truss head screws (A). Make sure the camera is oriented as shown in the above photo. Align the camera and bracket over the center of the upper mesh upper retainer and install it with the supplied #8 x 3/8 black truss head screws (B). Reinstall the factory screws (C) removed from the center screw bosses to hold the retainer in place.

5 Carefully align the supplied pan head nuts behind the factory grille clip bosses and install the supplied #8 x 1/2 black truss head screws to secure the upper mesh upper retainer to the factory grille surround (left side shown, right side same). 24. If the vehicle you are working on has adaptive cruise control (see arrow), the lower grille cannot be installed as it will interfere with the cruise control operation. Proceed to Step Align the lower mesh section to the back of the lower grille surround. Trim the ends from the supplied #8 x 1-1/4 black cap plugs and push them down over the lower and side studs as shown. 26. Place the bumper cover face up. Use a 5/16 drill to drill through the outer corner of the lower grille where shown for mounting stud access Align the lower mesh assembly over the factory lower grille, making sure it is perfectly centered. Use masking tape to hold the grille into place during the following hardware installation procedure. 28. Turn the bumper cover/lower grille assembly over and install a small black plastic washer and a #8-32 ESNA half nut onto each stud and tighten until the nuts begin to making contact with the washers. Do not tighten completely until the protective masking tape has been removed (see next step).

6 Use a plastic tool to pry the mesh surround away from the masking tape and remove the tape by pulling it back over itself to minimize tape breakage. Once the tape has been removed, tighten the mounting hardware but do not overtighten the ESNA nuts or you will indent the mesh surround at the stud locations. 30. Carefully align the assembled grille back into the opening in the bumper cover and use masking tape to hold it into place Install the supplied #8 x 1/2 black truss head screws through the bumper cover and into the upper mounting holes in the upper mesh upper retainer and tighten until the factory chrome surround is flush with the bumper cover opening. Make sure you connect the park assist camera on vehicles equipped. 32. Align the supplied spacers over the outer bottom corner screw bosses between the mesh grille assembly and the bumper cover at the lower outer holes (drilled previously) using an awl or similar pointed tool Remove the awl and install one of the supplied #8 x 3/4 black truss head screws to secure the outer lower corners of the mesh grille assembly. 34. Align the supplied mesh retaining bracket over the center lower screw boss. Insert a supplied large black plastic washer between the mesh section and the retaining bracket, then install a #8 x 1/2 black truss head screw through the retainer, washer and into the factory screw boss and tighten.

7 Install the supplied #8 x 1/2 black truss head screws through the holes in the outer portions of the mesh retainer and allow them to self tap into the bumper cover. 36. Use a 1/8 drill bit to carefully drill through the outer factory chrome grille insert clip retainers (where shown, 1 each side) Install the supplied universal three hole brackets and a #8 x 3/8 black truss head screw to secure the lower factory chrome surround to the bumper cover. 38. Align the bumper cover/mesh grille assembly back onto the vehicle with the help of an assistant. Reverse steps 1 through 8. Remove the protective masking tape Remove the protective cover from the lower mesh surround and use a mild solvent and a soft, clean cloth to remove any solvent residue. Use alcohol or glass cleaner and a soft, clean cloth to remove any solvent residue.
