E&G Clas sics will not war rant dam aged parts or the ve hi cle due to altered in stal la tion procedures Infiniti QX80 - all models Upper and Lower Heavy Mesh Grilles Chrome Mesh Upper Part # U-15H / Black Ice Mesh Upper Part #1365-B10U-15H Chrome Mesh Lower Part # L-15H / Black Ice Mesh Lower Part #1365-B10L-15H Adaptive Cruise Chrome Mesh Lower Part # L-15HAC / Adaptive Cruise Black Ice Mesh Lower Part #1365-B10L-15HAC Automotive grade masking tape, electric drill, 1/8 drill bit, grease pencil, flat blade screwdriver, #2 phillips screwdriver, 10mm & 9mm sockets and ratchet, scotch brite pad or extra fine sandpaper, flat or semi-gloss black paint, solvent, glass cleaner and soft, clean cloths. 12/02/2014 Important information before you begin: If this E&G grille installation kit includes grille hole location template(s) to drill mounting holes in the vehicle, you MUST verify that the template(s) provided in this kit match the mounting pin or stud locations on the grille(s). Prior to drilling the mounting holes, place the assembled grille s mounting pins or studs over the template(s) provided and make sure that the pin or stud and hole locations are the same. If they do not match, please call and ask for technical assistance. Thank you Open the hood and remove the 10mm hex bolts and the plastic push fasteners from the center of the factory grille. 2. Apply masking tape to the painted and chromed openings of the factory upper and lower grilles Unclip the factory wire connector from the front mounted park assist camera. 4. Carefully pull out on the top of the grille to release the upper mounting clips.

2 Once the upper clips have release, pull out on the top of the grille then reach down and pull up on the centers of the lower mounting tabs to release them. Once the tabs are free, remove the grille and place it face up for the following emblem removal procedure. 6. Apply masking tape to the factory chrome protion of the emblem to protect the chrome finish. Do not tape the emblem to the grille Turn the grille over and remove the phillips screws securing the emblem to the factory grille. Save the emblem and screws for reinstallation onto the E&G mesh grille. 8. Turn the grille back over and remove the factory phillips screws retaining the park assist camera to the factory grille. Save the screws and camera for reinstallation onto the E&G mesh grille Align the supplied emblem mounting plate over the back of the emblem, then align and install the park assist camera onto the emblem mounting plate using the factory phillips screws Mark the center of the factory grille opening. Cut out, tape together, align and tape in place the upper grille hole location template (found on the last page of this manual) and align it with the center of the factory grille opening. Use an awl or similar pointed tool to mark the centers of the holes to be drilled in the following step, then flip the template over and mark the hole location on the opposite side.

3 Use a 1/8 drill bit to drill through the marks made in the previous step, then connect the holes using the drill bit, creating slots to allow slight left to right grille adjustments. 12.For vehicles painted colors other than black or dark blue: Apply masking tape 1/4 from the side edges of the bumper cover grille opening and (all vehicle colors) a 1/4 in from the holes drilled in the previous step across the factory lower chrome moulding. Use a scotch brite pad of extra fine sandpaper to scuff the exposed surface for the following paint procedure. See Step 14 closeup detail Apply flat or semi-gloss black paint to everything inside the factory upper grille opening to conceal items not painted black by the factory (shown half painted for contrast). 14. The upper raised portion of the bumper cover should also be taped around and painted black Align the factory emblem into the opening in the E&G mesh grille. Turn the grille over and install two of the supplied white nylon washers, two of the supplied small black plastic washers and the factory phillips screw onto each factory screw boss and tighten until the emblem is tight against the mesh section. 16.Turn the grille back over and align the emblem surround into place.

4 Install the supplied emblem surround mounting washers and #8-32 ESNA half nuts onto each mounting stud and tighten until the surround is tight against the mesh section. 18. Prior to lower grille installation, use flat or semi-gloss black paint to black out the lower mounting studs Align the lower mesh grille into place, making sure the mounting studs pass through the openings in the factory lower grille. 20.Install a supplied large black plastic washer and an 8-32 ESNA half nut onto each mounting stud and tighten until the nylon portion of the ESNA nut engages the treads on the mounting studs Prior to final tightening, remove the protective masking tape or it will get caught behind the grille once the hardware is tightened. Once the tape is removed, finish tightening the lower grille mounting hardware until the washers no longer freely rotate. Do not overtighten the ESNA half nuts or you will indent the surround at the stud locations. 22.Align the upper mesh grille into place, making sure the lower mounting pins fit into the holes drilled in Step 11 and the park assist camera bracket fit through the opening in the center support. Install the factory 10mm hex bolts through the top mounting plate and into the threaded holes in the vehicle but do not tighten until the grille depth has been adjusted.

5 Close the hood and adjust the mesh grille to that it is flush with the hood. 24.Once the depth is adjusted, open the hood and tighten the 10mm factory hex nuts Make sure the top corners of the grille are flush with the fenders and hood, then install the supplied #8 x 3/8 black truss head screws through the holes in the to plate. Remove any remaining masking tape installed in Step 2. Use a mild solvent and a soft, clean cloth to remove any glue residue. Use alcohol or glass cleaner and a soft, clean cloth to remove any solvent residue to finish.
