2 DROP ARM ARRI SUSPENSION SYSTEMS Telescopic extension to suspend lighting fixtures and audio / video equipment in studios and auditoriums. The telescopic extension is a simple and economic suspension for installations in which frequent variations in height are not required (i.e.: for cyclorama lighting, news studios). The extension length is regulated by loosening the locking screw and manually extending the arm to the desired length. A new range of lighting suspension equipment for studios and theatres. ARRI introduces a vast range of suspension equipment for TV studios and theatres, incorporating pantographs, hoists and telescopes, as well as various rail systems, carriages and accessories. Electrical Line Set with an up to 64 ft. (19.5 m) long batten / connector strip assembly to suspend lighting fixtures and audio/video equipment. The self climbing hoist FLY-UP combines innovative design with the highest safety and quality standards for a simple and fast installation. The FLY-UP incorporates the batten pipe or aluminum rail, receptacles for lighting circuits and a worm geared motor for raising and lowering the unit. To reduce installation costs, the hoist comes completely factory assembled with an aluminum installation rail that holds the four steel cables and the terminal box for all electrical and control connections. The system is under static and dynamic conditions self-sustaining, which removes the need for mechanical braking systems and reduces the maintenance requirements to a minimum. The FLY-TOP hoists offers a wide range of design options to suspend lighting fixtures in theatres, auditoriums and studios. Universal clamps make it easy to install the drive unit and diverter pulleys with the cable management system for the lighting circuits onto an aluminum installation rail (back bone) or directly to the ceiling structure. The moving section of the FLY-TOP is connector strip / lighting bar assembly. The drive unit is furnished with radial winding drums eliminating any risk of cross winding during operation. 7 FLY-CONTROL ANALOG FLY-CONTROL PENDANT Direct control. The FLY-SET D control panel allows to operate single or multiple hoists directly from the control panel via a momentary up/down control switch. Each hoist travels as long as the corresponding switch is activated or the hoist reaches its operating limits. Remote control. The FLY-SET R allows you to select multiple hoists on the control panel and start the operation via a momentary up/down control switch on a pendant control. Each hoist travels as long as the up/down switch is activated or the hoist reaches its operating limits. The control panel is available with a steel enclosure for surface mounting or for installation in a 19 rack and is furnished with a power on/off key switch to prevent unauthorized access and an E-stop button with a normally closed contact which has to be wired to a relay in the power distribution panel that cuts off the power to all hoists when the E-stop button is activated and the normally closed contact is open. The FLY-NET TOUCH is a modular control system based on a LAN network that allows you to record and recall horizontal as well as vertical positions of an almost unlimited number of hoists. The software offers users a topographic view of the rigging system which makes it easy to allocate hoists to a group and save the actual position of each group member in a preset. Once a preset is recorded it can be retrieved at any time to reposition the hoists into the stored target positions. To create presets choose Manual Mode and select the hoists you want to operate on the touch screen. Activate the operation via the up/down or left/right switch on the control panel. Each hoist will travel as long as the switch is activated or the hoist reaches its operating limit. The Target Mode allows you to assign a target position as an absolute value or travel distance form the actual position to each hoist in group. Activate the operation and the selected hoists will stop by them-self once they reached their target position.
