2 CUSTOM SOLUTIONS 15kV Modular Application Portable power distribution. Problem Solved Provide a trailer mounted modular skid to bypass main system or provide temporary power in emergencies. Item 1- A 15kV Modular Trailer Mounted Enclosed Secondary Switchgear The trailer mounted modular skid shall consist of a trailer mounted line up of draw-out vacuum circuit breakers and associated controls. The enclosure shall be durable dry powder painted steel. The entire assembly shall be 95kV BIL construction to facilitate use on 13,800V system. The trailer shall include the following: Trailer features include: 8x25 tri-axle, 15,000 lbs. rated, dual tag-along type, 12 I-Beam main frame, 4 each drop-leg leveling jacks, 12 each 16 ply radial tires, 11-gauge checker plate floor and DOT lighting. The trailer shall have two stainless steel ground pads for field grounding. The switchgear enclosures will be Type 3R. The finish shall be the same ANSI 61 Gray tough paint and coating system used on Federal Pacific/ Line Power pad-mounted and metal-enclosed switchgear, based on the requirements of IEEE Std C , Coating system performance requirements. The outside skin will be a minimum of 11-gauge. A 1/2 x 4 copper ground bus runs the full length of the enclosure. An outdoor ground, which is painted grey, is located on the main circuit breaker bay. The switchgear is furnished with a circuit breaker electrical racking device, a circuit breaker manual operating handle, a breaker cranking handle, a circuit breaker manual charging handle, and a circuit breaker lifting yolk. All sections of the enclosure will be supplied with space heaters to eliminate condensation. A thermostat and humidistat will be supplied. Outdoor lights will be on each end of the skid. All bus is copper and grounding stirrups are supplied. 90 flanges under circuit breaker doors to guard against water entry. Rear doors shall be hinged and bolted with a padlock provision. A portable stair and platform assembly shall be provided for access to switchgear. Stair shall be stored over tongue for installation where needed. Provisions for hooks on stair and slots for hooks on side of trailer shall be provided. The stair assembly will be fitted with a ground strap for grounding to the trailer. A galvanized base and take-off tower are not included in this offer. BAY amp main draw-out vacuum circuit breaker. Vacuum circuit breaker is a premium, highly reliable, magnetically actuated vacuum circuit breaker. Breaker rating: 15kV, 40kA interrupting current, 2000 amp continuous One set of three (3), 3000:5 multi-ratio current transformers on the line side of the breaker, and one set of three (3), 3000:5 multi-ratio current transformers on the load side of the breaker. Each CT is rated C400 down to the 1200:5 tap. Incoming may be either in the bottom with entry onto lug pads suitable for 4 each 1000kcm aluminum cables per phase, or in the top through three 2000 amp polyester air-to-air bushing insulators, gray glaze with creepage as required for corrosive and contaminated environments.

3 15kV Modular BAY 1 - continued A removable link will be provided to de-energize the roof bushings when not in use. (i.e. when bottom feed is selected.) A circuit breaker test cabinet shall be mounted in Bay 1 and fitted with 30 long leads. BAY 2 A draw-out tray with three (3), 7970V, single bushing, fused PTs shall be located over the circuit breaker. BAY 3 One (1) 13,800CPT, (station power transformer), 25kVA. One (1) draw-out fuse drawer for CPT. BAY 4 and BAY 5

A hand operated pendant with a 50 cord will be supplied for remote circuit breaker close and tripping. The pendant is a water/oil tight NEMA 4 hand held device similar to a crane control pendant. Fitted with a plug, it can be plugged into a receptacle corresponding to any of the circuit breakers in the line-up. An AC and a DC panel board are included in the rear of this bay. All circuit breaker DC circuits will run directly from the DC panel board. Two (2) 120V convenience receptacles.

5 15kV Modular BAY 7 Battery and Power Compartment Batteries to be stacked or two- tier in lieu of two-step to save depth. The battery compartment will be provided with a large double door opening at the end to remove or service batteries as required. The landing will be coated with skid resistant paint. Battery system 60-6V-6oGi-150-N6, rated 150AH, 125VDC is in the base price. A retracting mast shall be fixed to the bay for antenna mounting. The mast shall lift the antenna over the top of the enclosure. An external control termination cabinet located on the side to accept four each 4 conduits from below. Control wires exiting this structure will be terminated on well marked terminal blocks. Portable Ground Grid Assembly Quantity of twenty-two (22) 4 x5 panels of extra rigid crimped wire cloth, 304 stainless steel, 2-inch opening, inch wire diameter. Panels are equipped with 304 stainless steel tabs for joining together and grounding to existing underground ground grid/rods. Quantity of twenty-four (24) PVC posts with post driver, pointed socket and post caps. 125 of rigid polyethylene fence, 2 x 2 diamond pattern, 48 tall, orange in color. Ground lug and ground wire for securing ground grid to main ground. Storage brackets on rear of switchgear for storing ground grid during transportation.
