2 RESIDENTIAL COLLECTION SERVICES The City of Zephyrhills offers automated trash collection services to all City residents. Residential services are provided twice per week and include automated trash collection, recycling, and yard waste collection. YOUR NEW Z-CART Your new Z-Cart will be delivered to your home free of charge beginning mid February Your Z-Cart provided to you will be stamped with a serial number that is assigned specifi cally to your location. These carts are owned by the City. Do not take the cart if you move. Do not permanently mark carts. Use the serial number to keep track of your cart. Periodic cleaning is advised. There will be a charge/fee to the homeowner for replacing their cart if it is damaged or missing.

3 USING YOUR Z- CART Cart Placement Place the Z-Cart with the handle farthest away from the street. The Z-Cart lid should be closed. Trash should not be overflowing and must be inside of the Z-Cart. The Z-Cart must be 3-feet away from recycling bin and other objects or obstructions such as mailboxes, trees, streetlight, and/or parked cars. Place your Z-Cart near the end of your driveway to prevent conflict with parked cars. Place the Z-Cart on as level of a surface as possible and away from overhanging tree branches. Z-Carts must be out on the curb by 7:00AM on the day of collection service. Please remove your Z-Cart from the curb by 7:00PM on the day of collection service. If your trash is currently being picked up in an alley, your new Z-cart should also be placed in the alley for pick-up. FOLLOW THE 3-FOOT RULE 3 Keep the Z-Cart at least 3 feet away from objects such as mailboxes, fire hydrants, low hanging trees, etc. so that the garbage truck can easily lift and empty it

5 YARD WASTE / CONSTRUCTION & DEMOLITION DEBRIS Yard waste must be separated from all household waste. Please place containerized, bagged or bundled yard waste out on the evening before pick-up after 7:00 p.m., or the morning of pick-up before 7:00 a.m. The City does not pick up Construction & amounts of building debris from homeowner s residential upkeep and maintenance. Demolition debris with the exception of small If your repairs require a permit from the City or a private contractor has been hired to complete the job, the resulting debris must be removed by the homeowner or contractor.
