1 GENERAL 1. The following minimum specifications are for a tandem axle truck (conventional cab and chassis with an engine and transmission). 2. The truck shall be the manufacturer s current model under standard production and shall be supplied with all necessary operating accessories customarily furnished whether specified herein or not. 3. Wiring to be Point to Point amp alternator 4. Four (4) heavy duty 12 volt maintenance free batteries, 2000 CCA minimum. 5. Battery box is to be factory mounted outside of the cab to hold four (4) heavy duty 12 volt batteries, mounted on driver s side. 6. Supply in-cab switch and harness for auxiliary plow lights and turn signals. 7. Negative battery shutoff switch. State type and model: Note: Contact the MCRC to confirm the location for the shutoff switch LIGHTS 1. Standard front LED headlights with integral reflectors and marker lights. 2. Front cab marker lights. 3. Stop and tail lights with turn signals and reflectors, four-way flashers, and back up lights. RADIATOR 1. The radiator must have an opening for a front mounted hydraulic pump with a minimum 4 clearance from center of crank shaft hub. The fan must clear the drive shaft for a hydraulic pump. 2. Cab to have Bostrom Talladega 915 Wide Ride high back air suspension driver seat with air lumbar support and standard non-suspension passenger seat with room for control valve handles between the seats 8. Driver and passenger seat covers to be cloth 9. Cab exterior trim (sun visor cab skirts, kicker plates, etc.) shall be stainless steel. 6

Ground clearance for under truck scraper, minimum 24 on air tanks, drive line, steps, exhaust pipe, fuel tanks, etc. 20. Bed liner coated floor plus beneath the cab. WARRANTY 1. Provide detailed warranties that are available, with detailed pricing. Please state on your specification sheet what you are bidding on each item, the make, model and actual capacity. DELIVERY 1. The bids shall specify the delivery date as the number of calendar days from the date of award of the bids by the Manistee County Road Commission (MCRC) to delivery of the truck cab and chassis to the MCRC yard in Bear Lake, Michigan.
