His passion and desire to work on and ressurrect a variety of vehicles started off with just a couple of cars in need of metal fabrication. Over the last 20 years, we have grown into doing full restorations and state of the art hot rods. We are doing a variety of things which include: metal fabrication, chassis work, machining special one of a kind parts and hard to find parts, engine modifications, and fully customised parts. 18 Sheet Metal Ford and Mercury Woodie and Ford car sheet metal repair and replacement panels. All of the replacement parts on these pages are referenced from these terms. The A-post: The door hinge post. The B-post: The door striker post. The C-post: The post where the tailgate is. The left side: The drivers side, and the right side: The passenger side Ford/Mercury woodie rocker panel extensions. These are hand formed in our shop and fitted to a buck so each one is correct. This Part goes from the seam under the B-post to the rear wheel opening. From the underside of the inner rocker to up and under the wood on the side of the car. They are 23 inches long. Longer than needed to allow for trimming at the B-post. These replacement panels are constructed from 19 guage stock as the originals were. Left hand side (drivers) L $95.00 Right hand side R $ early 1950 Ford/Mercury woodie 2nd seat area floor pan. This is a near exact replacement of the floor section where the seat plugs in. This panel goes from the front floor seam back to the upright transission where the 3rd seat passengers feet go. From the seam along the drop area along the outside edge, up to and along the wheel tub over to the edge of the tranny tunnel. The flaps to cover the seat hole plugs are solid riveted on as original was if you have that style. The other style has the seat latches bolted to the bottom of the floor pan. The beads in the panel are the same width and depth. This panel is constructed from 15-gauge stock. Please specify your style. Left hand side (drivers) L $ Right hand side R $ Ford/Mercury woodie C-post filler panel This is the little ¼ round panel that fills the gap at the rear of the floor in the rear corners of the car. The C-post panel comes with the correct bead, and wire harness pass through holes. The felt seals are also included with each one. These filler panels are constructed from 19-gauge stock just like the originals. Left rear corner (drivers) L $45.00 Right rear corner R $ Ford car or woodie front fender outer skin patch. This is a 19-gauge repair panel. The folded seam along the door edge is present and prebent to allow the inner brace to slip in. The bottom edge has the step formed as the original did. This panel is inches tall from the very bottom edge up and around and onto the side. It is 10 inches wide from the door edge to the wheel opening. Left fender repair panel (drivers) L $49.00 Right fender repair panel R $ Ford car or woodie front fender inner brace repair. This is a 19-gauge repair section. This panel has the curve in it to match the bottom of the fender. The mounting flange is there and it is long enough for you to install it where the inner brace is straight and easy to work at. 19 Sheet Metal Ford or Mercury woodie rear tail pan assembly. These panels are 19-gauge steel, the same as Ford used. They have all the oval mounting holes punched in them. The left and right side panels have the correct bracing on the backside as Ford did them. The middle pan comes unassembled and all the pieces are sold separately. They are formed up like the originals. They have the holes for the dimmer switch but do not have the holes for mounting the plate to the toe kick. We have found that those holes will vary from car to car and so you should match the cover plate up to the old holes and then drill them out. Dimmer switch cover plate $ Ford woodie A-post floor support These are constructed out of 16-gauge steel as Ford had done and are the correct length for the woodie floor pan. These go from the bottom of the A-post (where the door hinges mount) to the center of the car at the opening in the floor for the transmission. These are not like the other ones that are too short and constructed from 20-gauge stock. The drivers side support has the recess for the removal of the clutch pedal just as the original or order the one with out if you are building a hot rod. A-Post floor support left side with clutch recess L $ A-Post floor support left side without clutch recess L $ A-Post floor support right side (passenger) R $ Ford woodie B-post floor support These are constructed out of 16-gauge steel as Ford had done and are the correct length for the woodie floor pan. The sides with the large holes in them are also 16 gauge, instead of 19 guage, to add stiffness to the whole structure. Unlike the car ones or the aftermarket ones they are the correct length and gauge of metal for the wider woodie. These go from the B-post (where the door striker is) to the center tunnel of the wagon. B-Post floor support leftside (drivers) L $ B-Post floor support right side R $
20 Sheet Metal cont Ford woodie B-post to wheel tub floor panel These are constructed from 18-gauge steel. These panels have the stepped edge going from front to rear on the floor side and have the 90-degree flange on the inner rocker side. The panel has the wedge shaped step in it that goes from the middle of the panel to the wheel tub end and is about 3 13/16 at the wheel tub. The upper part of the panel at the wheel tub has the curved flange to meet up with the wheel tub edge. B-Post floor (drivers) L $ B-Post floot R $ Ford woodie B-post to wheel tub floor access panel This is the panel that is screwed to the floor along the outside edge of the floor between the B-post and the wheel tub. This part is the one that goes on top ot the Constructed from 18-guage material just like Henry s was. B-post access panel L $49.00 B-post access panel (passenger) _522R $ Ford woodie B-post interior bottom This is the little angle part that is welded to the bottom of the B-post and to the floor and part #522 sets on top of it. Constructed from 18 guage steel. This repair panel is 8 inches long and goes from the bottom (the floor) up 8 inches. It has the first rectangular hole in it and has the same taper as the original for a smooth fit. This repair panel is designed to be butt welded into place. A-Post extension repair (drivers) L $89.00 A-Post extension repair R $ Ford/ Mercury rear floor side extensions This replacement panel goes from the wheel tub to the C-post. From the edge of the main floor out to the inside edge of the outer body. The driver s side has the flanged hole for the gas filler pipe. Both panels have the stepped edge to go under the center floor like Ford did it. They have the 1/8 deep stepped recess that goes front to rear and ends at the tailgate hinge. Rear floor extension (drivers) L $ Rear floor extension R $ Ford/ Mercury woodie wheel tub forward body mount This replacement mount goes in front of the wheel tub and behind the B-post. It is constructed from 12-gauge material. The original is constructed from thinner 13 gauge. This part is designed to replace your bent or rusted original. 21 Sheet Metal cont Ford/ mercury woodie rear wheel tub repair panels These panels are the lower tails of the wheel tub that rust off or are crushed. They are constructed from 18-gauge sheet stock and formed in our shop. The rear tail panel is 13 tall from the bottom lowest edge and 15 wide. The front panel is 9 tall from its lowest edge and 14 wide. These panels have the formed edge that buts into the quarter panel. Call us with your needs Ford/Mercury woodie metal to wood gate conversion This is a kit to convert your metal gate to a wood gate. With the removal of the outer skin and then the addition of these parts your gate is now the same as a wood gate. These panels are 19 gauge. The main center panel is designed to be but welded into place and the filler tabs get welded on top of the old gate in the slot at the top of the gate. A wood gate inner spare tire-mounting bracket has a higher profile than the one used with a metal gate. An original wood gate one will work if you have one or use our duplicate reproduction. The reproduction one is constructed from 13 gauge stock and has the ribs formed in the bottom just as the original. The reproduction also has the four shouldered studs welded in place. The outer bracket is an exact copy of the original, use ours or find and original. The outer bracket is different for a wood gate than the one used on the metal gate. The reproduction outer bracket comes with the tire-mounting studs welded in place. The inner spare tire-mounting bracket is 13 gauge material just like Henry made them. The outer spare tire-mounting bracket is 11 gauge as the original one was. Metal to wood gate conversion kit $99.00 This kit contains the following: Upper cross rail filler panel, 5 upper groove filling tabs, 3 spacers for the wood under the blind nuts and, 6 spacers for the wood at wood screw locations.
