The distributor cannot be responsible for issues arising from modification. We strongly recommend this cargo carrier not be modified and/or used for any application other than that for which it was designed. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS WORK AREA When assembling, installing, or removing the cargo carrier Keep work area clean, free of clutter and well lit. Cluttered and dark work areas can cause accidents. Keep children and bystanders away while assembling, installing or removing the cargo carrier. Distractions can cause lose of control, so visitors should remain at a safe distance from the work area. PERSONAL SAFETY 2

3 Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when using the cargo carrier. Secure all cargo with tie-down straps and /or bungee cords(not included). Never exceed recommended load capacity of 500 lbs. CARGO CARRIER USE AND CARE Do not modify the cargo carrier in any way. Unauthorized modification may impair the function and /or safety and could affect the life of the equipment. There are specific applications for which the cargo carrier was designed. Always check for damaged or worn parts before using the cargo carrier. Broken parts will affect the cargo carrier operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately. Distribute the load evenly. Uneven loads may cause the cargo carrier to tip, resulting in damage to personal property or to the vehicle. Use the cargo carrier only with 2in. Class III and Class IV hitches. Always position loads evenly and secure with tie-down straps. Never block or impede vehicle exhaust. Loading items that block exhaust can cause fire or damage to personal property and vehicle. Assembly Recommended Tools: Size=17mm Assembly Instructions 1. Unpack all parts and identify according to the DIAGRAM AND PART LIST. 2. Install two M12 bolts (11) through frame (1), 2 tube body assembly (2), and frame (1). Install flat washers M12 (10), and lock nuts M12 (9) on the bolts. Size=19mm Size=24mm Monkey Wrench(1pc) Size=0-300mm Monkey Wrench(1pc) Size=0-300mm Size=19mm REMARK: DON T TIGHTEN THEM UNTIL THE CONNECTING PLATE (PART NO. 3) INSTALLATION IS FINISHED. 3

4 3. Place the connecting plates (3) onto frames. Install M10 bolts (14) through frames (1), flat washers M10 (13), and tighten them together with the M10 lock nuts (12). Size=17mm 4. Connect the 2 foldable tube (4) onto 2 tube body assembly (2) with M16 locknut (7), M16 bolt (8),and connect pin (6), fix with clip (5) Monkey Wrench(1pc) Size=0-300mm Size=24mm Loading Your Cargo WARNING: ONLY USE THE CARGO CARRIER WITH A PROPERLY INSTALLED 2IN. HITCH RECEIVER, CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING THE CARGO CARRIER AND ITS LOAD. REFER TO MANUFACTURER S SPECIFICATIONS AND LOAD CAPACITIES BEFORE USING. 4

5 1. MAX. WEIGHT OF CARGO NOT TO EXCEED 500 LBS. 2. Slide cargo across the frame to find the center of gravity, where the cargo will rest without rocking easily. 3. The cargo needs to be secured with bungee cords or otherwise tied down to prevent swaying. Folding The Frame Body When Not In Use 1. Pull out the pin (5) and the connecting pin (6). 2. Turn the frame body up until the frame body is vertical. 3. Insert the connecting pin (6) through the 2 tube body assembly (2) and the lower hole of the 2 foldable tube (4) and insert the clip (5) into the connecting pin (6). IMPORTANT! Check that all connections are tight. OPERATION WARNING: RISK OF FIRE/FIRE HAZARD. Never allow loads or items on the cargo carrier to block or impede exhaust from vehicle. This can cause a fire or damage to personal property or vehicle. Step 1: 2-person installation is recommended to lift the cargo carrier into place. Step 2: Lift the cargo carrier and insert drawbar into the hitch receiver on the vehicle. Step 3: Line up the horizontal hole in the drawbar with the hole in your hitch. When the holes line up, insert a hitch pin with through the holes to secure the cargo carrier. Attach cotter pin into end of hitch pin to hold in place. MAINTENANCE Maintain your cargo carrier. It is recommended that the general condition of the cargo carrier be examined before each use. Keep your carrier in good condition by adopting a program of conscientious repair and maintenance in accordance with the recommended procedures found in this manual. Keep the carrier clean. A properly maintained cargo carrier will work more effectively. Keep all parts dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Cleaning. Use only soap and a damp cloth to clean your cargo carrier. 5
