It is important that you read the entire manual to become familiar with this product before you begin using it. This jack is designed for certain applications only. The distributor cannot be responsible for issues arising from modification. We strongly recommend this jack not be modified and/or used for any application other than that for which it was designed. If you have any questions relative to a particular application, DO NOT use the jack until you have first contacted the distributor to determine if it can or should be performed on the product. For technical questions please call INTENDED USE This 1.5-ton (3000 lbs.) Fast Lift Racing Jack lifts from a low clearance profile of 3-1/4 to a height of 14. Its quick-lifting hydraulic system saves time. The jack combines a lightweight aluminum frame with a heavy-duty steel lift arm for strength and durability. Jack is equipped with safety valve to prevent overloading beyond rated capacity. Rubber padded saddle and foam covered handle protect vehicle frame. Real wheels swivel for easy movement and positioning over rough surfaces. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Capacity 1.5 tons (3000 lbs.) 3 understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANT SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS JACK USE AND CARE Do not modify the jack in any way. Unauthorized modification may impair the function and/or safety and could affect the life of the equipment. There are specific applications for which the jack was designed. Always check of damaged or worn out parts before using the jack. Broken parts will affect the jack operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately. Store idle jack. When jack is not in use, store it in a secure place out of the reach of children. Inspect it for good working condition prior to storage and before re-use. This is a lifting device only. Do not move or dolly the vehicle while on the jack. Immediately after lifting, support the vehicle with jack stands. Caution: use wheel chocks to block unlifted wheels. Do not exceed rated capacity. Overloading can cause damage to or failure of the jack. Lift only on areas of the vehicle as specified by the vehicle manufacturer. Center load on saddle prior to lifting. Off-center loads may cause damage to jack, loss of load, property damage, personal or fatal injury. This jack is designed for use only on hard level surfaces capable of sustaining the load. Use other than hard level surfaces can result in jack instability and possible loss of load. No alterations shall be made to this jack. Read, study and understand the operating manual before operating jack. This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. INSPECTION Visual inspection should be made before each use of the jack. Check for abnormal conditions such as cracked welds, leaks, and damaged, loose or missing parts. Any jack that appears to be damaged in any way, is found to be worn or operates abnormally, must be removed from service immediately. If the jack is accidentally subjected to an abnormal load or shock, it must be taken out of service immediately and be inspected by a qualified repair or service center. It is recommended that an annual inspection is performed on the jack and that any damaged or worn parts, decals or warning labels be replaced with manufacturer's specified parts. Owner and/or operator should be aware that repair of this equipment may require specialized knowledge and facilities. It is recommended that an annual inspection be made by an authorized repair facility and that any defective parts, decals, or safety labels or signs be replaced with manufacturer's or supplier's specified parts. 4 DAMAGED EQUIPMENT Any jack that appears to be damaged in any way, if found to be worn, or operates abnormally SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM SERVICE UNTIL REPAIRED. It is recommended that necessary repairs be made by an authorized service center. Do not use any attachments or adapters with this jack that are not from an authorized service center or the distributor. ASSEMBLY This jack is completely assembled except for the handle. Note the handle has two sections, one upper section and the lower section. This jack's yoke is held down with a metal hook/or a small block during transportation of the product. Before use of the jack, push down on the yoke and remove the metal hook/or small block carefully, and discard. Slide the upper section into lower one. Loosen the handle socket screw in the yoke. Apply a small amount of grease to the handle socket. Place the assembled handle into the handle socket, wiggle down on yoke until handle engages. Tighten the handle socket screw. OPERATION Before Use: During shipment or handling, air in jack may become trapped in the hydraulic system causing jack to malfunction. If the jack will not lift a load or sustain a load, purge air from the hydraulic system. Air purge shall be performed when the jack is not under load. To Purge Air: 1. Turn the handle counterclockwise one full turn and lower the lift arm to the lowest position. 2. Turn the handle clockwise to close release valve. 3. Pump jack handle rapidly for 2-3 FULL strokes 4. Hold the handle in its lowest position and turn handle counter-clockwise one full turn and lower lift arm to its lowest position. Use force if necessary. 5. Repeat above steps if needed. To Raise Load: 1. Make sure the jack and the vehicle are on a hard level surface. 2. Always set the vehicle parking brake and block the unlifted wheels. 3. Consult the vehicle owner's manual to ascertain the location of jack points and position the jack beneath the prescribed lift point. 4. Turn the handle clockwise to close release valve. Do not over tighten! 5. Pump the handle and raise the vehicle to the desired height. 6. Place jack stands beneath the vehicle at locations recommended by the vehicle manufacturer, and do not get under the vehicle without jack stands, as jacks are not designed to maintain these heavy loads for long time periods. 7. Turn handle SLOWLY counter-clockwise to lower load onto jack stands. To Lower Load: 1. Turn handle clockwise to close release valve. 2. Pump handle to lift vehicle off the jack stands. 3. Remove jack stands. Do not get under or let anyone else get under the vehicle. 4. Turn handle counter-clockwise SLOWLY to lower vehicle onto the ground. MAINTENANCE Maintain your jack. It is recommended that the general condition of any jack be examined before it is used. Keep your jack in good repair by adopting a program of conscientious repair and maintenance. Have necessary repairs made by qualified service personnel. Page 4 of 7

5 Replacing Hydraulic Fluid. When adding or replacing hydraulic fluid, always use a quality hydraulic fluid. DO NOT use brake fluid, alcohol, detergent motor oil, dirty oil or any fluid other than quality hydraulic fluid. Improper fluids can cause internal damage to the jack and improper or unsafe operation. Adding Hydraulic Fluid With the saddle fully lowered and the jack on the level ground, turn handle counter-clockwise to allow ram to fully retract. Remove the oil fill plug. Hydraulic fluid should be filled to the level just below the oil fill plug hole. If the level is more than 3/16" below hole, add hydraulic fluid as needed. Lubrication All moving joints require frequent lubrication. Remove handle and grease the lower end of the handle where it rotates in the handle socket. Oil all lift arm linkages, front roller and rear casters. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE Problem Unit will not lift load. Unit will not sustain load or feels "spongy" under load. Action Purge air from hydraulic system by following procedures under OPERATION Purge air from hydraulic system as above. Unit will not lift to full height. Unit will not lower completely. Purge air from hydraulic system as above. Check to be sure oil level is not too high or too low. Check oil level. Make sure oil is not overfilled. Handle tends to raise up while the unit is under load. Pump the handle rapidly several times to push oil past ball valves in power unit. Unit still does not operate Contact customer service.
