4 StormFlex Pipe SN12 StormFlex is a flexible alternative to rigid PVC stormwater pipe. It also replaces multiple fittings when joining downpipe to the groundpipe. StormFlex is white and stays stiff in direct sunlight. It is made from UV stabilised white polypropylene. StormFlex is also used for temporary stormwater diversion on construction sites. StormFlex Fittings displayed on page 13 are used for temporary stormwater connections on construction sites. It is fitted over Draincoil corrugated drainage pipe to prevent small particles of soil (fines) from entering the pipe and reducing the drainage capability. There are two grades to choose from. The heavier RTA grade conforms to the specifications of the New South Wales Road and Traffic Authority (RTA), hence its name. It has more continuously extruded fibres per yarn and can withstand higher loads of abrasion, strain and mechanical installation without tearing. Use with 50mm Diverter Hose 2. Adapting to Rectangular downpipe 3. Diverting to 90mm Stormwater pipe Note: The 90mm Rainwater Diverter is not a valve. Some leakage between outlets will occur. Right-Hand and Left-Hand Installation: The 90mm Rainwater Diverter can be used for both left-hand and right-hand installations. Always check that the diverter valve has has been set to the correct orientation after installation. The T arrow on the handle should always rotate between the side and bottom outlets. If this is not the case then unscrew the front cover, remove the handle and reinsert it in the correct orienta - tion. In Left-Hand Install Right-Hand Install Unscrew Front Drain Reinsert valve gate at 45º angle If the handle is installed upside down, i.e. with the T arrow pointing upwards, then the inlet will be blocked and the diverter will not function.
