Turn off engine and release hydraulic pressure. - When working on a hydraulic part, make sure that the oil has cooled sufficiently to avoid burns. - Keep a first-aid kit and a fire extinguisher at all times. - If the machine is lifted using a jack, place support shims under the track and make sure it is securely supported. - For any mechanical interventions, it is preferable to contact a competent professional on these machines. Observe all laws and regulations regarding the disposal of used oils and hydraulic fluids. Responsibility and Warranty The extent, duration and form of the warranty are set out in the manufacturer's general sales and delivery conditions. In the case of warranty issues which may arise from improper documentation, the ultimate notice in force is the date of delivery. Beyond the conditions of sale and delivery the following clauses are applicable: a right to the guarantee is excluded for the damages caused to persons and materials, caused by one for several of the following: Page 10 sur 21
11 - Use of backhoe not in compliance with regulations and intended use - Use of the backhoe with faulty safety devices or with safety and protection devices not correctly fitted or not in use - Misconduct or failure to comply with the instructions in these operating instructions - Use by not sufficiently qualified personnel - Incorrect execution of repairs - Modification of the construction of the backhoe carried out without authorization - Insufficient monitoring of machine parts subject to wear, to assume its own responsibilities, the owner must: Ensure that the safety instructions are observed Take the necessary measures to exclude a start-up or use of the machine without authorization Guarantee the use of the machine in accordance with the conditions of contractual use of the backhoe. Noise and Vibrations The values given in this operating manual were recorded during a test cycle carried out on an identical machine. They are valid for a machine equipped with standard equipment. The values recorded are given in the technical data. Noise emissions have been established according to the ISO4871 standard for the determination of the sound pressure level on the basis of Directive 200/14 / EC, Annex VI. However, the values given for noise emissions are not applicable for the determination of noise emissions at the workplace. Noises whose sound level exceeds 85 db (A) can cause hearing damage. Over a sound level of 80 db (A), the use of an ear protection is recommended. From a sound level of 85 db (A), the operator must imperatively wear an ear protection. The vibrations of the machine were found on an identical machine. The exposure of the operator to vibrations during a prolonged period must be evaluated by the operator at the workplace in accordance with Directive 2002/44 / EC, so that individual factors are taken into account. Hydraulic Danger If oil is spilled into the eyes, rinse immediately with pure water, then consult a doctor immediately. Skin and clothing should not come into contact with hydraulic oil. The parts of the skin that come in contact with the hydraulic oil should be - if possible - immediately washed thoroughly and several times with soap and water, otherwise the oil could irritate the skin and cause dermatosis. In case of spillage or spillage of hydraulic oil on clothing, change immediately. If someone has inhaled hydraulic oil vapors (fog), take them to the doctor immediately. If the hydraulic system leaks, do not start the backhoe or stop it immediately. Page 11 sur 21
12 Do not look for oil leaks with bare hands, but always use a piece of wood or cardboard. For leak detection, wear protective clothing (goggles and gloves). Hazardous area Definition: The hazardous area concept identifies locations where people may be at risk. In the case of the AX Backhoe, the danger could arise from the swinging movement of the arm, the projection of substances should be taken into account, as well as the space it would require when it is straight. Also, the height of the straight arm is a potential hazard. Maximum machine height Machine width Total arm length Machine length with arm fully extended Digging depth 2.65 metres 1.20 metre 2.95 metres 3.32 metres 1.93 metre The security zone to respect is therefore : 5 metres around the axle of the machine, 3,50 metres above from the base of the machine. Page 12 sur 21
