TRAINING AND EDUCATION Know-how transfer through training. We train our customers on site and ensure that they will keep up-to-date with workholding technology. REPAIRS With good maintenance you can prevent downtime. We maintain and repair your workholding devices and thus can ensure a long service life of the chucks.

4 REPAIRS MAINTENANCE performed by SwissChuck AG As a rule, our chucks are hermetically sealed against ingress of grinding contamination. To avoid such contamination in the long-term, it is imperative to periodically check the chucks and, if necessary, to change seals in order to ensure uninterrupted production processes. If such preventative maintenance has been neglected, abrasive grinding debris may enter the chucks, and may lead to excessive wear on the guiding surfaces. Excessive wear on the seals may lead to loss of pressure and, as a consequence, to loss of clamping force. REPAIR WORK at SwissChuck AG Repairs will be necessary when the workholding no longer delivers the required accuracy or if a vital function is impaired. We analyze the state of the workholding device and offer a binding estimate of costs for the required repairs. Restoring the functionality, working order and accuracy Components that are subject to high wear will be replaced by original new components. Receiving Upon receipt, the data of the workholding device will be immediately recorded and the device will be given a unique reference number. 2. Analysis The workholding device will be taken apart and the scope of the required repairs and/or maintenance will be established. 3. Cost estimate The customer will be given a detailed cost estimate on the basis of which the customer can decide if the repairs or the maintenance shall be undertaken. 4. Repair / Maintenance Once approved by the customer, the work will be undertaken in accordance with the cost estimate. The customer will receive an order confirmation. 5. Checking Prior to shipping a workholding device, the relevant measurement data will be recorded. 6. Shipping Once approved by quality assurance, the now impeccable workholding device, including its inspection certificate, will be shipped back to the customer.

Level 3 Premium Service The workholding device will be refurbished to be as good as new Worn parts will exclusively be replaced with new, original parts Function and accuracy will be a 100% reestablished as new.
