Retaining the Parts List will make it easier to reorder individual parts and will save the cost of ordering an entire kit. NOTE: Numbers in parenthesis ( ) are reference numbers for parts listed in Bill of Materials. Installation instructions for kit number 808 DESCRIPTION: This kit contains the parts needed to replace a switch on 700, SS, 00, 00, 800, ATLV00, and Litter Hawk machines. Please follow step-by-step instructions. SPECIAL TOOLS / CONSIDERATIONS: None (Estimated time to complete: 0. hour) PREPARATION:. Stop the machine on a clean level surface, turn off the machine, set the parking brake (if equipped with a parking brake), and remove the key. FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing machine, stop on level surface, set parking brake (if machine is equipped with parking brake), turn off machine, and remove key.. Disconnect the battery cables from the batteries. WARNING: Always disconnect battery cables from machine before working on electrical components. INSTALLATION:. Remove the hardware holding the control panel to the machine from the control panel. Refer to Fig. through Fig. 0.. Lift the control panel high enough to access the wiring behind the panel.. Use a terminal removal tool or a small standard screw driver to remove the terminals and wiring from the connector body on the wire harness.. Cut the shrink tube () to length and shrink the shrink tube over the bare terminals. If terminals are damaged, use the provided terminals () to replace those that are damaged. 7. Choose the appropriate switch () or () for the machine. Refer to Fig.. 8. Connect the wire harness to the switch () or (). Refer to Fig. through Fig.. 9. Install switch () or () where the removed switch was previously located. Refer to Fig. through Fig. 0 for switch locations. 0. Reconnect the battery cables to the batteries and check switch for proper operation. NOTE: If switch operates backwards, remove switch, rotate switch 80, and reinstall switch.. Remove the existing switch from the machine. Note wire orientation on switch before removing.. Disconnect the connector from the back of the switch. IB 0 (08-00)
