Transcription
1 Removal (S70, V70 AWD & V70 XC) 1. Drain fuel tank. See DRAINING FUEL TANK (C70, S70 & V70). Drain fuel system. 2. Remove front and rear cargo compartment floor. Unplug ABS sensor and fuel gauge connectors. Remove connector holder and front cover. Feed lines through hole. See Fig. 66. Fig. 66: Disconnecting ABS Sensor & Fuel Gauge & Removing Front Cover (S70, V70 AWD & V70 XC) 3. Remove circlip from rubber bellows around fuel filler pipe. See Fig. 38. Press bellows with filler pipe into wheel housing. 4. Raise and support vehicle. Remove right rear wheel. Remove wheel well liner and mudflap. 5. Remove protective covers from both fuel tank and EVAP lines. Disconnect EVAP lines from fuel tank. Disconnect all plastic pipes from plastic clips on fuel tank. Remove 4 bolts for jack attachment and longitudinal stay mounting in body on both sides. Remove 3-way branch on left-side jack attachment. Disconnect front brake line from 4 clips under vehicle. Remove hand brake cable from jack attachment by drilling out pop rivet (marked B). Tie jack attachment to longitudinal stay brackets (marked A). See Fig. 68. 9 suspension with fuel tank about 12" (30 cm). Ensure filler pipe is clear of wheel well liner. Ensure fuel line between level sensor and ejector pump does not scratch vehicle body during removal. Ensure brake lines are clear. 11. Remove fuel lines from tank using. Note position of each line. Unclip lines from mounts on tank. Plug each open fuel line immediately to prevent fuel spills and fuel line contamination. See Fig. 72. NOTE: DO NOT remove fuel line between fuel pump and ejector pump.
