This compact, yet powerful, unit will be a drop in replacement for such applications as the Ford E and F chassis engines. Our 12/14 Volt unit packs 230 Amps of reliable power and is temperature rated at 125 C * (257 F) to keep your engines performing when you need it most. 3 AVI160 Features and Benefits Dual Internal Fan Dual Internal Fan alternators provide exceptional air flow and cooling. 12/14 Volt Our T-Mount AVI160 will be a 12/14 Volt self-excite unit with an internal regulator. The initial units will be relased in 2 versions: 1) I-Line voltage regulator for Navistar LCF, Ford, 4G, (Pre-2008) 2) PCM type regulator for Ford (2008 and older) 230 Amp 230 Amps rated load 6000 RPM Max continuous RPM: 12,000 RPM 125 C* (257 F) Temperature Rated Operational temperature range: -40 to 125 C*. (* With approval of Leece-Neville Application Engineering.) T-Mount pancake type design Compact design, bi-directional rotation system, case ground with welded diode/lead frame connections. Built to last Heavy Duty Bearings Vibration Resistant Corrosion Resistant 160mm frame 160mm frame size to fit more applications. 4 Technical Guidelines Our T-Mount AVI160 is a pancake type design. This compact, yet powerful, unit will be a drop in replacement for more varied applications. (3x80) Mounting Surface / /-.25 (200.0) 74 +/- 1 (45.5) (37.5) (128.1 MAX) (145.2 MAX) The AVI160 T-Mount is bi-directional rotation, case ground, and features welded diode/ lead frame connections. The AVI 160 T-Mount Alternator with its original release will be sold in two variants. The difference in the two is the voltage regulator. One part is equipped with an I-Line voltage regulator and the Second is equipped with a PCM type regulator. The majority of all 2004 and older Ford Truck and Van applications are equipped with the I-Line type voltage regulator and the vehicle harness will either plug/connect directley to the I-Line alternator or can be connected with the supplied pigtail/harness. All 2008 and newer applications are equipped with PCM type voltage regulators and as built will plug and play no adapter harness required in any application.
