Manufactured using spun aluminium and plastic damper blades. The diffuser is fitted with a neck adaptor to suit the direct fitting of flexible duct. The diffuser comes with plastic adjustable damper blades and an easily removable core allowing for access to the damper and installation via ceiling fixing clips. They are recommended for wall applications but can be modified for ceiling. The grille is constructed in aluminium and can be supplied with either a fixed or removable core for access. The grille has an attractive linear appearance and is available with three shapes of blade to give a variety of air directions. The maximum single length manufactured is 2400mm, but where longer lengths are required, joining links are provided to give an aligned, continuous appearance. It is available in your choice of a natural anodised finish or powder coated RAL9016. Other colours are available upon request, contact your local dealer. The grilles are manufactured from aluminium and use a 13mm x 13mm aluminium egg crate. The egg crate provides approximately 90% free area allowing for maximum air flows with low noise levels. The valves are manufactured using pressed and spun steel with a powder coated RAL9016 finish. Installation is by a fixing collar supplied as part of the valve assembly. Air flow adjustment is controlled by rotating the centre cone either inward or outward. Once the required setting is achieved the cone is locked into position with a locknut. 166 PRODUCT DATA SHEET 1YR WARRANTY SWIRL DIFFUSERS Overview The SHSD & RHSD Swirl Diffusers are designed for higher air volumes while still maintaining the advantages and uniqueness of the swirl action. It is designed for ceiling applications and will fit most ceiling types. The swirl diffuser is ideally suited for comfort areas due to the multi stream discharge pattern creating very high induction results at low noise levels. The diffusers are manufactured from steel sheet with a pressed control blade creating an aesthetically attractive diffuser. The finish is powder coated RAL9016. 174 PRODUCT DATA SHEET 1YR WARRANTY WEATHER LOUVRES Overview idealair group supply various sizes and models of weather louvres to cater for most applications. All are manufactured from aluminium. The smaller weather louvre WL40 has a slimline design for smaller spaces ensuring low water ingress while maintaining maximum air flow at low noise levels. The larger weather louvre WL100 is designed for larger spaces and has a double water trap blade to ensure minimum ingress of water at higher air flow rates. Both louvres are designed to have blade mullions fitted when over certain lengths, ensuring greater strength to give better wind and vandal protection. The blade mullions also allow the weather louvres to be manufactured in very long lengths creating a strong blade join with a much straighter and aligned appearance. Both can be used in either supply or exhaust applications. WL40 & WL100 louvres have galvanised vermin deterrent mesh fitted to the rear and supplied with a natural anodised finish as standard. Powder coated colours are available by contacting your dealer.
