2 Introduction to Lindab InDomo We are facing one of the toughest challenges in decades. New buildings and existing homes must minimize their use of energy. In less than years all new build homes are supposed to use almost no energy at all according to EU directives. This means the buildings must be better insulated and more air tight. It also means that existing homes must be upgraded, but when speaking about low energy houses it is eually important to think about ventilation and a good indoor climate. The Lindab group was established in 99, and we are one of the world s leading ventilation suppliers. We can offer you a wide range of uality components and solutions for residential ventilation, all developed and tested by our inhouse R&D departments, and backed by our IT solutions and highly skilled staff - so if you choose Lindab as your partner you will be gaining access to Lindab s 0 years plus of experience and know-how. Lindab InDomo range is a system of products, suitable for integration into domestic buildings. All circular plenum connections are supplied with gaskets as used on the renowned Lindab Safe system, which fulfils the toughest demands for air tightness. This ensures that the ducting can be interconnected uickly and easily whilst leaving you safe in the knowledge that undesired leakage will be minimalized. All manifolds and plenum boxes have a Smart Lock function which allows Lindab s LFPE semiflexible duct to be attached with a simple push and click and can be removed uickly and simply without the need for tools and with no damage to either the flexible duct or the plenum/manifold. If noise sensitivity is an issue then low levels of noise are ensured with our optional specially developed silencers, these products, together with other items from Lindab s extensive range such as dampers, silencers, valves and grilles, provide you with a complete high uality system for residential ventilation. Lindab s Smart Lock Simply Push and Click to safely lock the flexible ducting in place safe in the knowledge that Lindab s gasket system will minimise leakage without the need for tapes or sealant. To remove or reposition the flexible duct simply pull back on the Locking Tab and the duct can simply be detached without damage to either the duct or the spigot. 36 lindab air valves Valve Supply and exhaust air AIRY Dimensions Description The valve is designed for installation at a wall or in a ceiling. It can be used for new-build and for replacement. Its smart grip function ensures an easy installation. Its uniue sound data ensure an optimum sound level. The valve consists of two parts; the valve body (AIRYB) and the flat front plate (AIRYFP). The valve body is fixed to the duct system or a valve socket via flexible spring wings. The front plate is attached to the valve body via springs. There are standard front plate shapes: ROUN a circle, BOW a suare with sligthly bulged edges, SQUA a suare, ELLI an super ellipse. RECT a rectangle, Special shapes are possible on reuest. It is recoended that the valve is mounted in the frame ILVRU. The product will also fit in the valve frames VRGU, VRGM, VRFU, VRFM and the products BU GJUT, and TCPU GJUT. The valve body has to cover the brim of the product it is fitted into. Therefor the maximum diameter of the brim for Ø0 is 33,, for Ø2 is 2, and for Ø0 is 8,. Maintenance The visible parts can be wiped off with a damp cloth. Ordering example NOTE! Both the valve body and the front plate have to be specified in order to get a complete valve.
