2 The FISHER PRO-CASTER hopper spreaders are perfect for ice control on driveways, roads and parking lots. Available in 7', 8', 9' and 10' body lengths in powder coated steel or stainless steel, these rugged v-box type spreaders mount easily on pick-up, dump or platform trucks. All spreaders are covered by the FISHER Two Season Warranty. 3 2 The v-belt engine drive for the conveyor system (see below) is smoother, quieter and more forgiving than a roller chain if a rock jams the conveyor. The use of a v-belt also eliminates potential corrosion problems. Power Options All models offer your choice of 10 HP I/C Tecumseh or 11 HP I/C Honda engine. The 8' and 10' models are also available with a hydraulic motor. Gas engine spreaders feature cab mounted electronic throttle control with choke indicator light and electric clutch. Unique Features 1 The poly spinner will not rust, promoting longer life. 2 Replaceable poly spinner chute deflectors will not rust and are more forgiving when encountering obstacles while you re backing up. 3 Center High Mounted Stoplight (CHMSL) is standard and meets FMVSS requirement. 1 Also Available Choice of unique vehicle battery kit which eliminates the need for a dedicated battery or a conventional battery tray kit Inverted-vee (standard on High Capacity models) Short or long chute Heavy duty top screens Dual hydraulic chute option Conveyor & Drive The conveyor on the PRO-CASTER spreaders is 16" wide pintle chain. This wider conveyor reduces bridging and moves more material for faster unloading.

3 ACCESSORIES The best way to insure reliable performance from your FISHER spreader is to insist on genuine FISHER parts and accessories. INVERTED VEE Available for 7' and 8' Regular Capacity models this accessory helps reduce material bridging by reducing the amount of material lying directly on the conveyor. The Inverted Vee is standard on High Capacity models. HEAVY DUTY TOP SCREEN Keep foreign materials like rocks and ice chunks out of the hopper body with these sturdy top screens. Available for 7', 8', 9' and 10' Regular and High Capacity models. WEB & RATCHET HOLD DOWN KIT Four 1 1 2" nylon ratchet tie down straps make mounting a FISHER hopper spreader in your truck easy work. The ratchet action takes just seconds to attach the spreader firmly into your truck and makes off-season removal simple.

7 The FISHER line of SPEED-CASTER tailgate spreaders offers the ice control professional a choice of two spreaders ideal for parking lots of any size. Both units are easily removed from the vehicle without the use of tools. The patented SPEED-CASTER tailgate spreader, with a 10 cu. ft. poly hopper, was designed to spread dry #1 rock salt, calcium chloride and other ice melting materials. The hopper s unique shape along with replaceable internal agitators promote efficient material flow. Adjustable material deflectors control the spread pattern while poly feed gates regulate the material flow. Other features include 1 3 HP, 12V DC motor, CHMSL and top screen. Capable of spreading all types of material, including wet sand, the SPEED-CASTER 2 features a 2-stage delivery system with a 16" belt conveyor for positive feed of all materials. The high strength poly hopper has up to 1200 lbs. Capacity (10 cu. ft.) on properly equipped vehicles. Spreader height along with the feed gate and deflectors are all adjustable. The SPEED- CASTER 2 also features a 1 3 HP 12V DC motor, " spinner and CHMSL. Both spreaders offer an in-bed truss mount or an under-bed frame mount which includes a Class IV receiver hitch. On either unit, choose an on/off/blast switch or variable speed control (shown).

10 This line of FISHER tailgate spreaders features a low profile design which provides an unobstructed rear view from the cab of the vehicle. All Models are ideal for spreading dry #1 rock salt, calcium chloride and other ice melting materials. The Model 2000 offers the ice control professional the ultimate in convenience and performance. Features include 10.6 cu. ft. poly hopper, 12V DC high-torque motor located in a sealed housing in the hopper, an internal auger for continuous and even flow of materials and a Center High Mounted Stoplight (CHMSL). The FISHER Low Profile Model 500 tailgate spreader is designed for compact pick-ups or SUVs with a class III trailer hitch. Features include a poly hopper with 5 cu. ft. capacity (up to 225 lbs.), sealed 12V DC motor and direct drive auger. Built-in 2" hitch mount, poly spinner, hopper cover and ratchet straps are included. Adjustable deflector (shown opposite page) is optional. The FISHER Model 1000, economy tailgate spreader features a low profile, high-density polyethylene hopper with 8 cu. ft. capacity (400 lbs.). It comes with a 10" diameter spinner, powder coated steel auger and agitator and a 12V, DC motor mounted inside a sealed housing in the hopper. Receiver hitch mount is available on model 1000 and 500 low profile tailgate models. Both 2000 & 1000 spreaders are available with a fixed mount or the dual SWING AWAY design which allows you to swing the spreader out of the way without removing the tailgate. The Model 1000 is also available with a receiver hitch mount. Accessories include Top Screen Kit, Adjustable Deflector, and Truck Protector Flap.

11 UTS-696 UTS-696 Under tailgate spreader is designed to fit 96" wide standard dump bodies. TROUGH The trough assembly is 7 GA with 1 4" end plates. A one-piece combination cover and rear panel is hinged to provide access to the auger for easy cleaning. The spreader has quick disconnect mounting so the trough can be easily removed. The unit won t interfere with the operation of the tailgate or dump body. Also available in stainless steel. AUGER & DIRECT DRIVE The auger is 6" in diameter with 3 8" thick, 4" pitch continuous flights with reverse flights on the road side of discharge. Adjustable Poly Deflector Auger Lock-out pin A high torque, low speed hydraulic motor (15 GPM, 2000 psi) couples directly to the auger for low maintenance operation. Unique auger lock-out feature is standard. SPINNER ASSEMBLY A poly spinner is standard to provide longer life. The disc is 18" diameter and is self-leveling, adjusts right or left and has 6 vanes. A shield in front of the spinner protects the vehicle from thrown material. An adjustable poly deflector is included as standard equipment.
