1 IV-POLES GENERAL IV-POLES Areas of use Provita offers you the complete range of infusion stands (IV-Poles) for use one-hand height adjustment. in doctors surgeries in nursing wards in intensive care wards and in operating theatres. The IV-Poles are mostly used for gravity infusions. Special IV-Poles with weighted bases offer the additional possibility to attach infusion and injection pumps in a non-tilting manner. Provita provides IV-Poles with a continuous welded roller base for areas with special hygiene regulations. Technology We can provide our economy IV-Poles in high-gloss chromium-plate or stainless steel finish with simple double castors. Higher quality versions are always made of and can optionally be equipped with 75 mm device castors or patented 80 mm single castors. One-hand height adjustment can be used to change the height of the IV-Pole quickly, easily and safely with one hand. Sudden slumping is ruled-out by the internal safety technology. An additional aqua stop socket hinders the penetration of liquids. In practice Normally simple IV-Poles are used in nursing wards. All other wards should be equipped with higher quality infusion stands. Stability and tilting safety are very important in such cases in order to guarantee adequate patient protection when using pumps and other devices. Larger casters also offer considerably better running qualities.
