1 HEAVY PISTOLS Even in the cyberpunk world, 11 millimeters and above are those calibers that can be considered heavy. With the appearance of Kevlar "Spider Web", the need if felt on the police and corporate forces and later in civilian markets, for heavier weapons that can do damage to someone packing that kind of armour. Advances in the resistance of materials and its tolerance to heat have permitted powerful weapons that are compact and reliable. From a legal point of view, in the USA of 2020, all calibers of 12 mm and under, can be legally carried in any self-defence weapon. Greater calibers are restricted to usage on private property.
