2 Section 1 Scuitineering 1.1 All riders and their machines must undergo scrutineering on the morning of each race meeting. Riders and machines must pass the below basic tests before being allowed on the track. The scrutineering team will allocate the rider a coloured band which must be shown at sign on. That band will allow the rider through pit lane before being allowed on the circuit. Any rider found to be trying to get on track without the allocated band will not be permitted to take part. 1.2 Random scrutineering will go on throughout the meeting and any rider failing any regulations will not be permitted to race until the issue is fixed and also may incur a penalty at the club committee /scuitineer/clerk of the course discretion. If you are a newcomer or are in any doubt about the fitness of your bike or equipment please ask a scuitineer. 1.3 Bike Check list Riders numbers to be displayed on two sides and front clearly and must be a minimum of 80 mm high and correct colour spec as per class rules Wheel bearings no play & brake cables not frayed Brake levers must be clear of bodywork on full lock Kill switch to be bar mounted and working Front and rear spindle & spindle nuts to be tight Chain and sprockets in good condition All bodywork to be adequately fixed Head stocks covered and yolk bolts tight and no play Foot pegs to be rubber shrouded or plastic Throttle must snap shut when released No fuel or water leaks Only water may be used in coolant systems, STRICTLY NO COOLANT OR ANTI-FREEZE Tyres must be in good condition - no canvas showing No cracks in chassis or wheels All bikes to be fitted with a standard and working silencer (Noise limit rpm) Transponders must be fitted and working No factory markings to be defaced Engine Kill switch must be fitted and working Liquid cooled machines must have a radiator over-flow pipe terminating into an over-flow tank of no less than 250ml capacity [except minimotos with no over-flow facility] Two stroke machines with a separate gearbox must have a gearbox breather pipe terminating into a catch bottle. 3 All machines must have working front and rear brakes All breather pipes on all gearbox bikes must terminating into a catch bottle ALL 4 stoke machines - All fuel and Engine breather pipes must terminate in catch tray Titanium may not be used anywhere on rider or machine, this includes: wheel spindles, frames, nuts & bolts, handlebars, and knee/toe sliders Slick tyres may be run Any forecourt pump fuel providing duty has been paid at source Footrests must be nylon or nylon tipped, radiosied, with no sharp edges Control levers must have ball ends and be smooth, with no sharp edges All bodywork must be fitted and secured at all times on all machines. Pitbikes must have fairings fitted as per factory spec Race numbers must be clearly visible in a visible font, in case we need to manually score Steering dampers permitted in some classes but must not restrict steering lock Handlebar ends must be covered by either grips or NON METALIC bar-end plugs, handlebars/levers must not touch any part of the bodywork through their travel, riders thumbs must not trap against the tank Fuel tank breathers, where fitted, must be fitted with a one-way breather valve, fuel breather pipes must terminate into an overflow bottle, min capacity 250ml Petrol and coolant filler caps must be securely fastened and not leaking All bikes with working front/rear suspension; unit s must have effective damping and must not be leaking oil.

4 1.4 Rider Check List Back protectors must be worn by all riders Motorcycle boots must be worn in all pitbike classes Riders must wear a gold or A type MCUI/ACU approved full face helmet with a race approved visor, clear or dark (no scores) which must be worn down whilst on circuit & in good condition. All Straps must be working Clothing must be full or 2 piece zip together leathers only. Mini moto riders only, are allowed mixed material leather protected mini moto suits. Must include all over cover with knee, elbow & shoulder protection Knee sliders must be plastic only, strictly no titanium knee or toe sliders Mini moto riders only, are allowed ankle high mini moto boots All rider s feet must touch the ground when on their bikes and they must be able to lift the bikes from the ground in case of a dismount If a machine or piece of equipment is altered in anyway after scuitineering the club is not at any liability if an accident or injury is caused.

5 Section 2 - Refuelling & fuel storage 2.1 Containers used must be up to and a maximum of 25 litres (ie 5 litre plastic cans, metal can) Must be a British standard approved container and stored in a cool shaded area away from direct sunlight. 2.2 Have an appropriate sealing cap 2.3 Be made of metal or a durable plastic that will not react with the fuel 2.4Be clearly labelled or marked to identify the fuel and the potential hazards e.g. petrol highly flammable. 2.5 Refuelling must be carried out in the pit area only. 2.6 Refuelling is prohibited at trackside and in the holding area. 2.7 Refuelling must only be carried out when engines are cold. 2.8 If any fuel or oil is spilled on to the floor, (concrete, asphalt or grassed area) competitors are required to immediately attend to cleaning it up and notify the Clerk of the Course as soon as possible. 2.9 In the case of fuel spillages, immediately evacuate the immediate area of all personnel.

7 Section 3 MINI MOTO Classification Regulations Mini Motos - General Requirements To be eligible for mini moto racing, the machine used must come within the following basic specifications; Must be a recognized/f.m.i homologated mini or midi Frames must be rigid, no suspension allowed Capacity limit for all classes - 40cc, with 36 mm dome head piston - no flat tops on 4.2 engines or Junior Production (50cc for Supers with 40mm piston) Must be a pull start 2 stroke engine (or 4 stroke alternative see organisers for details) Must have a handlebar mounted engine kill switch & working Must have a fairing or headstock protection Wheel sizes as follows, 4, 5, 6.6/6.1 or Ignition must be standard, nonadjustable (ign timing) coil/flywheel for all Production based & 4.2hp Classes All Junior Classes do not allow any interior engine work that will benefit performance, this includes porting & flowing No abrasives may be used to clean interior engine parts and no machining of any description or replacement of standard engine parts for performance parts Final drive must be single speed via a dry, centrifugal clutch, 2 or 3 shoe (adjustable or non adjustable) Brakes any commercially available Fuel standard forecourt unleaded only no performance fuels and no additives.

8 3.2 All 4.2 JUNIOR & SENIOR Classes hp air-cooled mini or midi (Polini, BZM, blata or IAME engines only) Polini series one engine: Standard exhaust only (Exhaust: Original design only. With constant diameter front pipe, minimum length 260mm. Outside diameter - Min. 24mm Max 25mm), standard 3tr engine, port Barrel with junior or high compression polini head only No modifications as per general rules except any main jet/spark plug, air box open Standard 36mm Dome piston in polini engines, standard flat top pistion in BZM or Blata engines Carb: - Dello orto sha 14/14 or 15mm Dello orto Carb Standard reed plate with standard polini reeds (part no ) with no modification Tyres/wheels open, gearing open No defacing of any factory markings BZM / Blata engines: Same as polini rules V shape reed block with only one reed working In Senior classes IAME engines must run a 14mm Restrictor at exhaust port. These can be purchased from the MMRCI.

9 4.2hp Junior Rookies Age 5 to 7 (Non Championship Novice class) Must comply with Rules per all 4.2 listings! All Bikes must have a 10mm Restrictor fitted. These can be purchased from the MMRCI Non Championship (No standings will be posted) It is the decision of the MMRCI committee when the rider is ready to move up into Junior Pro s. The club will issue each rider a progression plan which must be completed before they are allowed to move up to championship racing. This is normally after two rounds if the rider is age 7 or above & can ride at the required ability Max of 1 years riding allowed in the Rookie class All Newcomers must start in this class Any rider aged 7 or older that took part in the rookie group in the previous year must move up to pro class at the first round of the new championship. 4.2hp Junior Pro age 7 to Rules as per all 4.2 listings All bikes Must have a 14mm Restrictor fitted. These can be purchased from the MMRCI If a novice rider has completed their progression plan they may be allowed to enter this class at 6 years of age by the club officials discression Riders Under 7 years of age must where a high - vis vest when riding.

11 SENIOR EVO MINIMOTO Ages 13+ This class will consist of aircooled 40cc machines, water cooled 40cc machines & water cooled 50cc machines. The machines will not be separated in the results from Aircooled BZM/ POLINI, IAME, BLATA ELITE ENGINE No modifications as per general rules Standard engine with no modifications or changes to 3 port barrel, Standard 36mm piston only sided inlet crankcase, crank, sided reed block, Standard coil, flywheel, exhaust Sha 14/14 or 15MM dello orto carb Any 2 or 3 shoe clutch Tyres/wheels open, Gearing open No defacing of any factory markings. Water Cooled 40cc & 50cc Any Recognised FMI engine Up to 6 port barrel Any modification to engine/air box/carb, except capacity, Exhaust Any commercially available Carb Any of the shelf 15mm (max) carb Standard Production machines such as junior spec may also be entered Tyres/wheels open, gearing open mm piston No defacing of any factory markings

13 SECTION 4 - Junior Gearbox Classification Regulations Junior Pitbikes - General Requirements Chassis 4 Stroke must be a factory produced, Homologated Pitbike machine, NO home builds or road conversions allowed Chassis modifications allowed for strengthening purposes ONLY. No geometry changes allowed Pitbikes must be 10 or 12 Wheels ONLY and no mix matching of wheel sizes are allowed. E.g. Both wheels must be either 10 or 12 as a set not one of each size Tyre Warmers allowed Bike must comply with Scrutineering Rules Full crash bobbin protection must be fitted Gearing front and rear main drive sprockets may be changed Engine and gearbox must be Standard 125cc horizontal style pitbike Engine and gearbox and must be manufactured by either Lifan, GN, YX or Polini ONLY No 4 valve heads allowed No aftermarket heads or valves allowed Camshaft must remain standard No quick shifters allowed Standard CDI Unit ONLY. No race CDI s allowed Max carb size must be 24mm with no flat slide carbs allowed No modification to carb or inlet manifold allowed Engine oil breathers allowed Standard 1kg flywheel ONLY with no modifications or movement allowed to the pick-up sensor mounting.

14 Head gasket minimum width 0.5mm if copper gasket and minimum 1mm if any other gasket material is used e.g. Standard Gasket Barrel base gasket minimum width 0.5mm (Standard Gasket) Crank case gasket minimum width 0.5mm (Standard Gasket) Clutch case gasket minimum width 0.5mm (Standard Gasket) Valve clearances open, Clearances can be set to rider preference No rotor kit upgrades allowed No engine modification or machining allowed No head modification or machining allowed. No gas flowed heads Standard 5 plate clutch ONLY No defacing of any factory markings allowed Maximum 27mm inlet valve and 23mm exhaust valve, no valve modifications allowed No gearbox modifications allowed standard ratio s ONLY Maximum 32mm Outer Stainless Steel Exhaust Catch tanks must be fitted to all overflow and open breather pipes Piston must be standard piston ONLY. No high comp pistons allowed No Titanium components of any description allowed including Nuts & Bolts. ALL RIDERS MUST BE ABLE TO START AND PICK UP BIKES IF THEY FALL OFF. NO PARENTS ALOUD TO RUN ON TRACK WHEN A RIDER FALLS OFF.

15 Junior Gearbox Rookies Age Must comply with Rules per general pitbike / mini gp section Bikes can be Semi Automatic or Manual Transmission Non Championship (No standings will be posted) It is the decision of the MMRCI committee when the rider is ready to move up into Junior Gearbox Pro s. The club will issue each rider a progression plan which must be completed before they are allowed to move up to championship racing. This is normally after two rounds if the rider is age 7 or above & can ride at the required ability Max of 1 years riding allowed in the Rookie class All Newcomers must start in this class Any rider aged 7 or older that took part in the rookie group in the previous year must move up to pro class at the first round of the new championship. Junior Gearbox Pro age 7 to Must comply with rules per general pitbike / mini gp section All bikes Must be manual transmission only If a novice rider has completed their progression plan they may be allowed to enter this class at 6 years of age by the club officials discursion Riders Under 7 years of age must where a high - vis vest when riding Metrakit mini gp 50cc or 70cc two stroke gp allowed. GP s will not be entitled to championship points. Gp s must comply to regulations under Fab-Racing. These can be found on the fab racing website.

17 Senior Mini GP Class Rules Section 5 MINI GP Classification Regulations Chassis, 4 Stroke machines mini gp style. (Example: STOMP, Dirtmax, Dream, Kayo Chassis modifications allowed for strengthening purposes ONLY. No geometry changes allowed Commercial Swing-arms for mini gp machines only. Swing arms with strengthening modifications allowed. No custom built swing-arms allowed. No geometry changes allowed Wheels ONLY Tyre Warmers allowed Steering dampers allowed Full crash bobbin protection must be fitted Suspension must be chassis manufactures Mini GP forks ONLY. If stomp front suspension is unavailable it is possible to run as an alternative any standard 660mm forks but they must be none adjustable forks (B) Rear shocks Any commercially available. If Modification to Swing arm is made and is not to a acceptable standard the race officials will not grant a scuitineering pass Suspension can be set up to riders own preferences Gearing front and rear main drive sprockets may be changed Engine and gearbox must be Standard YX140 Engine and gearbox or KAYO 150cc ONLY Camshaft must be a standard YX140 cam or Z40 performance cam ONLY. No other cams allowed No quick shifters allowed Standard Stomp YX140 CDI Unit ONLY. No race CDI s allowed.

19 Stroke Rules: These bikes may run in the same class but will be classified differently in the results. (2 Strokes will run as NON Championship bikes only) Chassis 2 Stroke machines must be a factory prepared Mini GP race bike e.g. Conti, Metrakit No road bike conversions, no scooters Wheels ONLY Tyre Warmers allowed Bike must comply with scrutineering rules Full crash bobbin protection must be fitted Engine maximum 70cc with NO machining or porting/polishing allowed No quick shifters allowed Standard reed block, reeds ONLY No defacing of any factory markings Gearing Open All bikes must have catch bottles fitted to all open overflows and breathers No flat side carbs allowed.

21 Section 6 SENIOR PITBIKE Classification Regulations Senior Production Pitbike 13 years of age and older. Up to 140cc engines Four stroke engines only A horizontal style engine with a maximum of 2 valves. 27mm inlet, 23mm exhaust Standard gear box No gearbox modifications allowed standard ratio s ONLY. No close ratio gear boxes, 4 gears only Must have a catch tank fitted, into which all overflows and breathers must flow Front sprocket cover and lower chain guide must be fitted. If a factory chain guard is fitted it must remain or 12 front and rear wheels. No mix of the two sizes at any one time Tyres must be for tarmac use only no off road tyres Riders must be able to lift the bike of the ground Riders must be able to start the bike Riders must be able to have both feet on the ground when sitting on the bike Chassis modifications allowed for strengthening purposes ONLY. No geometry changes allowed Tyre Warmers allowed Bike must comply with Scrutineering Rules Full crash bobbin protection must be fitted Any of the self suspension system - No custom fits or one offs Suspension can be set up to riders own preferences Gearing front and rear main drive sprockets may be changed Engine and gearbox must be Standard YX140 Engine and gearbox ONLY.

No gas flowed heads Standard 5 plate clutch ONLY Chassis must be Homologated pitbikes only. No custom builds All Sump bungs must be locked wired.

24 Section 6 Senior Pibike Classification Regulations

25 Senior Open Pitbike 13 years of age and older. All newcomers to this class must complete an assessment of skill and ability during morning practice before being granted entry to racing by officials Chassis: Any pitbike style off road homologated chassis with 10 or 12 inch tarmac wheels fitted Chassis modifications allowed for strengthening purposes only. No geometry changes allowed Engines: 4 stroke - horizontal YX/Tomasa / Lifan / Zongshen engine. After market genuine or non genuine parts allowed but must not exceed 160cc. No Daytona Engines Engines: CRF 150 Honda - After market genuine or non genuine parts allowed but must not exceed a capacity of 180cc 6.2.5Engines: 2 Stroke - 85cc. After market genuine or non genuine parts allowed but must not exceed a capacity of 105cc 6.2.6Carb: Any commercially available Suspension: Any commercially available Brakes: Any commercially available Tyres: 10 or 12 wheels and tyres only Gearing: Front and rear main drive sprockets can be changed Timing: Variable timing systems allowed Ingnition: Any commercially available Tuning: Polish and porting allowed Fuel: Standard forecourt unleaded fuel only Exhaust: Any commercially available but must comply with noise regulations Catch tanks must be fitted in which all over flows should terminate. This must be emptied regularly.

26 Front sprocket cover and lower chain guide must be fitted and if a chain guard is supplied by the manufacture, this must also be fitted Riders feet must touch the ground when on the bike Riders must be able to lift the bike of the ground Riders must be able to start the bike Hand guards must be fitted All Sumo bungs must be locked wired Full crash bobbin protection kit must be fitted No titanium components of any description allowed.
