Before assuming the mantle of the family trade, he was a professional motorbike racer who was intoxicated by the heady allure of café-racer society. Sometimes the racetrack has a defined start and finish; other times the finish line is but a notion, and you keep going until you find the perfect disembarkation point. A tidy metaphor for a well-lived life. Yet even after Margaritelli left behind the gears and timing devices of one world for those of another, his first passion motorcycles had left its imprint on the very fiber of his being. 3 CORSA COLLECTION Derived from the original Master Time model, Corsa is the perfect match for the world of elite sport-racing. Designed by Enrico Margaritelli, it brings to life his visions and ideas that stem directly from his passion for precision timing instruments. Its shape is inspired by the official stopwatches and ultimate time keepers of speed races, such as the Corsa neck watch that CT Scuderia proposes with a genuine leather string. It was created with pushers of different dimensions in order to be used easily during the action without having to look at the instrument for the start stop and split and to also be used with gloves for a continuous 12 hour chronometry. The perforated leather strap is the same leather utilized in luxury sports cars; handmade in Switzerland. The case back is unique and pays tribute to the Italian Flag with bold enamel colors.

5 SATURNO COLLECTION Contatempo Scuderia is dedicated to the Gilera Saturno motorcycle, which was made in Italy from 1946 to The first prototype of the Saturno racing motorcycles was equipped with a 32 mm Dell Orto carburetor and presented in 1940; Massimo Masserini won the Targa Florio in Palermo on his first race with it. Growing up, Margaritelli fell in love with the Gilera Saturno, thanks to a close family friend, Umberto Masetti, winner in 1950 of the 500 cc World Championship with the Saturno. CT Scuderia s Saturno collection reflects strongly its Italian DNA. Only 6,026 of the legendary Saturno motorbikes were ever made and left a lasting mark in motorcycle history. You can see the same caliber footprint of Margaritelli s Italian DNA within his collections.

9 FIBRA DI CARBONIO COLLECTION Engineered with carbon fiber to maximize on its properties of high strength and low weight, we have reduced the weight of the watch body without compromising strength. The carbon fiber we use is a combination of woven and unidirectional formats, and it s embedded in a resin matrix made from toughened epoxy. CT use a special machine application of the resin systems that ensures the most controlled and even application and therefore the highest quality material for use in all CT products.

11 STREET RACER COLLECTION The 1950s may be seen as a decade when the course and race changes the Isle of Man TT Races evolved into the motorcycle event that occurs today. Perhaps seen as the golden-era, the 1950s for the Isle of Man TT Races mirrored changes in the motor-cycling industry and motor-cycling technology and the increasing globalization of not onlyof motorcycle racing, but also of the motorcycle industry. If you did not see this, you saw nothing. The Isle of Man TT Race is the ultimate street race, with speeds of 250 mph on typical country and small town roads. You have to be a spectacular driver to manage there. You also have to be very brave...or crazy.

13 CHECK FLAG COLLECTION Back in the earlier days of racing, the tracks were dirt roads. Dust and dirt would kick into the air, making it difficult to see, especially when moving at high speeds. The contrasting black and white checkered flag was easy to spot and therefore made the perfect finish line flag. 17 2 TEMPI COLLECTION For years motorcyclists have argued on which the best was: a two-stroke engine or a four-stroke engine. A two-stroke engine can produce twice the amount of power (and make twice as much noise) than a fourstroke engine of the same size. This is because it fires once every revolution, giving it twice the power of a four-stroke, which only fires once every other revolution. It also has a significantly higher weight-to-power ratio because it is much lighter. Growing up in a family tied to the culture of watchmaking coupled with his experience as an endurance motorcyclist, Margaritelli designed a dual time collection called 2 (Due) Tempi, meaning two time zones. Every watch is made with two Swiss movements and is inspired by the very popular café racer bike, the Kawasaki 500cc, which has a two-stroke engine. Thus with two movements come two crowns placed at the 6 and 12 o clock positions, which provide a very distinctive look adding to the overall dual theme of the collection. Details include real carbon fiber dials, lumi bright hands and numerals, as well as straps made of crosta nubuck leather that are extraordinarily soft and known for being used in the highest quality Italian shoes and belts. Large dials are placed at the 3 and 9 o clock positions while certain models boast the complete CT Scuderia emblem as well as the number 59, which represents the year café racing was born as well as the birth date of the designer himself. 19 SCRAMBLER COLLECTION The Scrambler Collection presents a major breakthrough for CT Scuderia in introducing for the first time to the brand, a square shaped case design. The new collection takes its name from the type of off-road motorcycles that are used in one of the most strenuous types of auto races, the motocross race. As well as a new case shape, the timepieces of the Scrambler Collection come with a variety of different straps ranging from a classic steel bracelet to rugged leather NATO s to sporty perforated rubber straps. As with all CT Scuderia watches, the straps are interchangeable and the cases come with brand characteristic 12 o clock screw down crowns; intrinsic to the stopwatches that timed the very first café races. The four piece case construction lends a pared-down, durable look and has Lumi Bright Night Vision numerals. 21 DIRT TRACK COLLECTION While CT Scuderia s main inspiration comes from café racing, Margaritelli has a passion also for another strong and very challenging form of motorcycle racing - Dirt Track. Known for allowing a driver to showcase his true talent, the Dirt Track collection pays tribute to an old discipline within the racing world. TRACKER Taking inspiration from the racecourse itself, the dial details of the Dirt Track collection are oval which resemble the oval dirt track that is the ultimate test of man and machine. The crown is stationed at the 12 o clock position, a CT Scuderia signature characteristic since the brand launched in Introducing for the first time, silicon constructed straps with three holes for breathability, the watches allow for the best performance possible. The dials are replicas of the most famous speedometers used in vintage motorbikes and automobiles around the world. The Dashboard collection features a uniquely placed crown at the 6 o clock position, the spot where vintage dashboards originally had their kilometer re-set button. 27 MASTER TIME COLLECTION Master Time is the progenitor of all the Contatempo Scuderia watches. Margaritelli s grandfather, Ariodante Margaritelli, who was born in Italy in 1890, created for himself a new system of time instrument. A master of watch making from Parma, Italy, he was working in a factory creating time instruments. One day while exploring the different possible uses of the instruments he was making, he conceived the idea of adding a strap to the instrument to wear it on the wrist. The story of his grandfather was passed down to Margaritelli by his own father, who was a watchmaker himself. Amazed every time his father told the story, Margaritelli finally decided to combine his rich family heritage with his passion for motorcycles, giving birth to a modern visualization of his grandfather s artisan dream. CT Scuderia Master Time, offered in all stainless steel, is assembled with a Swiss Made automatic chronograph movement, 27 jewels frequency of 28,000 A/h 4Hz and 40 hours power reserve. The original idea of the pocket watch body worn on the wrist has been made ergonomic by Enrico Margaritelli in a very sophisticated construction, comprised of 111 components. The result is a perfectly unique ergonomic timepiece and a true salute to his grandfather s original passion for watches.
