3 1.4 Circuit Details Venue: Mt Cotton Location: Gramzow Road Cornubia QLD 4130 Direction: anti clockwise Length: 964 metres 1.5 Entries: Online Entries will open on 29 th July 2013 and entries close on Wednesday 21 st August No Late Entries please Entries will not be accepted unless accompanied by the appropriate entry fee All Printed Documentation must accompany every driver to the circuit for presentation at registration Entry is open only to financial members of Porsche Club of Queensland Fees The speed event entry fee is $80 (GST Inc) if paid by the discount entries closing date No Late Entries please Entries after 4.00pm on the closing date may incur a $50 late fee that may be given to a nominated charity No refund will be given for cancellation or non appearance on the day of the event If the event is over-subscribed, preference will be given to single vehicle entries, then Porsche vehicles, then fully completed and paid entries by receipt. 4 1.6 Classing Porsche cars will be classed by the 2013 Rules Classes which include: Open 1, Open 2, GT, A, B, C, D, E, F and Historic Non Porsche cars are classified under Associate Open wheel race cars will have to be approved by the Organising Committee before being accepted. 1.7 Event Schedule The Event Schedule is as follows; Sunday 25 th August 2013 Commences at 8.30am with one car completing a timed lap of the circuit at a time The order of, and drivers in, run groups will be published on the day of the event. 1.8 Organiser s Rights The organiser reserves the right to postpone, abandon or cancel the Event in accordance with NCR 59 of the current CAMS Manual The allocation of a competition number for each automobile entered is the last 3 digits of their Club Membership The event organiser reserves the right to refuse any entry in accordance with NCR 83 of the current CAMS Manual. 1.9 Circuit Access Access to the track and paddock area will be available from 0700hrs Sunday 25 th August There is strictly NO SMOKING in the pit lane, pit lane garages and/or paddock area. A $500 fine applies to any offenders A 10kph speed limit applies in the paddock area at all times The use of any kind of two (2) or four (4) wheeled motorised bike, moped, skates, roller blades and/or scooters in the paddock area is STRICTLY prohibited at the Event Markings on Automobiles The markings on all automobiles must remain in compliance with Schedule K of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport.

5 TIME KEEPING 1.11 Automatic Timing Timer to be supplied by MG Car Club in conjunction with Porsche Club Queensland at the track, on the day. CHAPTER 2 STANDARD SPORTING REGULATIONS 2.1 Administration Checking Date and Time: Sunday 25 th August 2013 from 0700hrs to 0800hrs Location: Scrutiny Bay Administration checking the following documentation must be presented: Competitors Licence (minimum L2S/L2SJ), Vehicle Logbook (if issued), Porsche Club Queensland Membership Card and Third Party Insurance Extension for Registered Vehicles, and scrutineering checklist. 2.2 Briefings Drivers Briefing Location: Grandstand located beside the Scrutiny Bay. Date and Time: Sunday 25 th August 2013 at 0800hrs Attendance is compulsory and failure to be present or on time at the Driver s Briefing will result in a penalty as detailed in the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport. 2.3 Scrutiny Checking Date and Time: Sunday 25 th August 2013 from 0700hrs to 0800hrs This period may be extended at the discretion of the Event Co-coordinator The scrutiny Checklist (appendix 1 as below) must be completed and presented at Admin checkin All drivers must have done a pre-check on their own vehicles prior to presenting the car for scrutiny spot check All Apparel, including helmets shall comply with Schedule D of the current CAMS Manual. All drivers apparel must also be presented to the scrutineer at time of scrutiny.

6 2.4 General Safety All competing cars must comply with the safety requirements as set out in the current Motorsport rules and comply with Schedules A and B of the current CAMS Manual Cars will not be permitted to compete unless passed in scrutineering Does not apply to hill climb All cars must comply with the following requirements: Seat belts are to comply with Schedule I of the current CAMS Manual Securely fitted fire extinguisher approved to AS1846 or AS1848 refer to Schedule H of the current CAMS Manual Double throttle springs (standard on Porsche road cars) Competition number on the top left side of the windscreen and either 1 side of the car in clearly visible white or yellow numbers, readily available from motorcycle shops Blue triangle indicating the location of the battery. Blue coloured cars must have the triangle outlined in white All forward facing glass except windscreen to be covered completely with transparent film. i) Clear contact - Tape is not sufficient ii) Positive battery terminal covered or taped Two independent fastening systems of limited extensibility on rear hinged bonnets. Note that this means of securing the bonnet is at least one additional fastening system in addition to the normal locking mechanism and safety catch.

7 ` All vehicles must be adequately muffled to comply with noise restrictions Fuel must comply with Schedule G of the current CAMS Manual. 2.5 Results Results will be determined by each car s lowest lap time Points will be awarded as per the 2013 Motorsport Competition Rules 2.6 Drivers must obey all flag and traffic light signals and instructions by officials while on the circuit. 2.7 The finishing order may differ from the starting order. 2.8 It is a condition of entry that competitors agree to pay all costs incurred for the use of fire fighting equipment of their cars. 2.9 It is an offence for any competitors to use, or attempt to use, any portion of the venue for purposes other than those that are approved Dangerous and/or unsuitable cars and/or drivers and/or poorly presented cars will be referred to the Stewards of the Meeting, and may be excluded Using slicks could mean a reclassification of that vehicle up one class During any event, consumption of alcoholic beverages in the paddock, pits or any other portion of the competition venue under the control of the officials is expressly forbidden until all practice or competition activity is concluded for each day. Any driver or crew member who is found to be affected by alcohol on the day of the event or practice therefore shall not be permitted to participate. Refer NCR 145A of the Current CAMS Manual. In addition, the persons concerned will be subject to the Articles of the Standard Operating Procedure for Alcohol Testing and CAMS Anti- Doping Policy. Competitors, crews or officials may be randomly tested for alcohol by a CAMS Accredited Testing Official (CATO) or other drugs at any time during the event(s). Other Prohibited Substances The CAMS Anti Doping Policy, as appears in the CAMS Manual of Motor Sport and as amended from time to time, is recognised as an integral component of the NCR and is duly authorised as such. In any areas where the National Competition Rules and the CAMS Anti Doping Policy conflict, the CAMS Anti Doping Policy will take precedence 2.13 No naked flames in the pit area. All refuelling must take place well away from any sources of ignition, especially hot cars fresh from the circuit 2.14 Protests must be lodged in accordance with Part XII of the current CAMS Manual The Pit Lane speed limit is 40 km/h Penalties will be applied for any breach as per the CAMS Manual of Motor Sport.

9 DRIVER DISCLAIMER EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY, RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK COMPETITORS AND/OR DRIVERS For Competitors I/We being the competitor/s of the vehicle described on this Entry Form wish to enter that vehicle for the above event. For Competitors and Drivers I/We being the competitor/s and/or driver, certify that the particulars on this form are true and correct in every particular, to the best of my/our knowledge and belief. I/We declare that I/we have read and understood the Supplementary Regulations issued for the event, and agree to be bound by them and the provisions of the National Competition Rules of the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Limited ( CAMS ). In exchange for being able to attend or participate in the event (including entering the event), I agree: to release CAMS and Australian Motor Sport Commission Ltd, Porsche Club Queensland Inc, motorsport director, promoters, sponsor organisations, land owners and lessees, organisers of the event, their respective servants, officials, representatives and agents (collectively, the "Associated Entities") from all liability for my death, personal injury (including burns), psychological trauma, loss or damage (including property damage) ("harm") howsoever arising from my participation in or attendance at the event, except to the extent prohibited by law; that CAMS and the Associated Entities do not make any warranty, implied or express, that the event services will be provided with due care and skill or that any materials provided in connection with the services will be fit for the purpose for which they are supplied; and to attend or participate in the event at my own risk. I, the undersigned, of my own free will hereby apply to MG Car Club ("Track Operator") for permission to enter and use the property known as Mt Cotton Hill Climb (the Track) for the purposes of testing an engine powered conveyance e.g. car or motorcycle, as a spectator, driver, trainee, passenger, crew or any combination of these. Warning of Risk I acknowledge and agree that high performance and/or competition testing is dangerous and that accidents can and often do happen. I agree the Track Operator has the right to terminate any test session at any time for whatever reason its sees fit at the time. I declare that I have read and understood these warnings and accept all the inherent risks and danger in testing and the activities surrounding the testing. Exclusion of Liability I agree to absolve the Track Operator from all liability however arising from injury or damage however caused (whether fatal or otherwise) arising out of my use of Mt Cotton Hill Climb in any capacity. Indemnity In consideration of the Track Operator granting me the use of the Track I agree to indemnify them in respect of any actions, suits, proceedings, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, penalties, fines, whatever arising as a result, directly or indirectly, of my use of the Track or any act or omission (including negligence) on the part of the Track Operator. Should any incident occur as a result of my testing whereby a successful claim is made under any insurance policy relating to the Track and an excess premium or deductible is charged by the insurer of the Track I will pay in full the excess or deductible under such insurance policy except to the extent that it is paid by a third party. Condition of the Track I acknowledge that I have thoroughly inspected the Track and found it to be in safe condition for the activities I intend to undertake. By using of the Track I indicate acceptance of the Track s condition for the activity(s) I will undertake. If an act or occurrence in which I am involved or observe reduces the safety of the Track I will immediately notify the Track Operator and warn other Track users of the danger and/or increased risk.
