TITLE OF EVENT The event shall be known as the Auto Pro Challenge herein after referred to as The Event, shall be held under the provisions of the International Sporting Code of the FIA, the National Competition Rules of the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport [CAMS], the Off Road Standing Regulations, the SAORRA Multi Club Series Regulations, these Supplementary Regulations and any further regulations or Bulletins that may be issued. This Event will be conducted under and in accordance with CAMS OH&S and Risk Management Policies which can be found on the CAMS website at Insurance for this event will be provided in accordance with Appendix I of the current CAMS Manual. SPONSORS Sponsors as listed on cover sheet plus Auto Pro Port Pirie and Tin Man Roadhouse. 4. THE EVENT The event is a Multiclub Event and will consist of: 1 lap of the 7km course. 9 laps of the 17kms. Total race distance 160kms 6. 3 7. ENTRIES, CANCELLATION, WITHDRAWALS, REFUSALS AND PROTESTS Entries: A minimum of 12 entries and a maximum of 60 entries will apply to the event. Entries will be determined in order of receipt. Entries may be refused in accordance with NCR 83 of the current CAMS Manual Cancellation: The organisers reserve the right to cancel, abandon, postpone, or modify (subject to Stewards approval) the event in any way in case of unforeseen circumstances, force majeure, or if there is less than 12 with priority notification given to Paid Competing crews only, (in accordance with NCR 59) Withdrawals: will be accepted on or before Friday 23 th June 2017 in which case entry fees will be refunded in full after the next Club meeting. Refusals: Entries may be refused in accordance with NCR 83 of the current CAMS Manual Protests: Protests must be lodged in accordance with Part XII of the current CAMS Manual. 8. RACE FORMAT TIMING Timing will be done by computer to the nearest 100 th of a second with computer timing back up. The winner will be determined by the shortest total elapsed time RACE The event will consist of 3 sections Section lap of 7km course Section laps of 17km course Section laps of 17km course SATURDAY 24 TH JUNE SECTION 1 : Vehicles will be allocated start position for Section 1 Competing Crews will do 1 lap of approx. 7 kms to determine start positions for Section 2 Starting intervals will be a minimum of 30 secs between vehicles. Competing Crews who do not finish Section 1 will be given a start position at the rear of the field for Section 2 in front of those who do not start the section SECTION 2 : Vehicles will be split into 2 groups based on Section 1 Lap times Slowest group will be first to run Each group will do 3 laps of the 17km course Vehicles will start 1 car at a time at 30 sec. intervals for Section 2 SUNDAY 25 TH JUNE SECTION 3 The field will be re-grouped for Section 3 based on fastest time from Section 2. Vehicles will be split into 2 groups with slowest group running first Each group will do 6 laps of the 17km course Vehicles will start 1 car at a time at 30 sec. intervals for Section 3 Total race distance - approx. 160 kms o Actual Race Time allowed for each vehicle will be advised at crew briefing

COMPETING CREWS Where the driver of an automobile is less than 18 years old and does not hold a current civil driver s licence, he/she must be accompanied at all times whilst competing by a crew member, in the vehicle, who either holds a current civil driver s licence or is not less than 18 years old. 11. COMPETING CREW ELIGIBILITY The event is open to all off road clubs, however to be eligible for SAORRA Multi Club Series points you must be a financial member of one of the clubs listed below, (refer SAORRA Multi Club Series Regulations, Reg 11 and 22) Adelaide Buggy Club, Gawler Road Knights Car Club, Limestone Coast Off Road Club, Millicent Sand Buggy Club, Onkaparinga Ramblers Car Club, Spencer Gulf Off Road Assn., Summit Racing Team Car Club, Waikerie Riverland Off Road Assn.

5 12. SCRUTINY In order to have your vehicle scrutineered, please take the following to event Headquarters at the times specified in Time Schedule of these Supplementary Regulations. Current club membership CAMS Licence & Competing Crew Record Book CAMS Log Book Homologation Papers (if applicable) One Civil Drivers Licence or proof of age (refer Sup. Reg 10 COMPETING CREW) Helmet (which complies with Schedule D of the CAMS Manual) Vehicle Racing apparel (which complies with Schedule D of the CAMS Manual) Log books will be held by the Chief Scrutineer until after that vehicle has stopped/finished racing. If you DNF without rollover / accident damage to your vehicle it does not require re-scrutiny. If you forget to collect your log book it will be returned to the SA CAMS office. All vehicles must comply with the General Requirements (GR) and Specific Requirements (SR) for Off Road Vehicles in the current CAMS Manual of Motorsport. 13. RECONNAISSANCE There will be no Reconnaissance 14. SIGNALLING TO COMPETITORS Race to be started by lights or flag. Flags to be used during the event will be as per CAMS manual. Australian flag will signal end of Sections 1, 2 and 3. Chequered flag will signal end of event. 15. SAFETY I. Mufflers are to be fitted to all vehicles. Turbo chargers are not considered to be a muffler. II. III. IV. Maximum noise emission permitted is 95dba. i.e.; NO MUFFLER, NO START First Aid Marker (green cross on white background) to be affixed on external surface of vehicle adjacent to location of First Aid Kit Contrasting front number Vehicles are required to have a forward facing number of contrasting colour 50 mm high on forward facing surface of vehicle (i.e.; windscreen or sunvisor) Personal Ambulance Cover is compulsory for all competitors V. Forward Facing Headlamps Vehicles must be fitted with a minimum of two (2) white, (or equivalent LED) forward facing VI. VII. Headlamps must be operational at the start of competition. At least one forward facing headlamp shall be operational at the start of each subsequent section. All other safety items refer CAMS Manual. You are advised to check the CAMS website for any further bulletins and updates 16. REFUELLING The following regulations apply to any operation that involves refuelling and/or the removal/opening of a fuel filler cap: Refuelling may be undertaken only at points nominated by the organisers and specified in the Supplementary Regulations. The fuel filler cap/s of the vehicle and the caps/covers/plugs of all refuelling containers must remain securely in place until after all occupants have vacated the vehicle and disconnected themselves from it, and the engine has been switched off. It is not permitted either to switch on the engine, or for any person to enter the vehicle until after the filler cap has been replaced on the vehicle, and the refuelling containers have been either re-closed or removed from the vicinity of the vehicle. An additional crew member must stand by the crew refuelling with a minimum 0.9kg fire extinguisher at the ready. All persons involved in refuelling operations, or within two metres of refuelling or venting points whilst the vehicle is being refuelled, are to be attired in at least shoes and socks, and non-flammable clothing from wrist to neck to ankle Refuelling in areas other than the pits or refuelling lane will only be permitted if permission is obtained from the Clerk of Course and carried out under the direction and supervision of a fire extinguisher equipped recovery vehicle crew Refuelling on track will be at the Clerk of the Courses discretion. Fuel shall be in accordance with schedule G of the current CAMS Manual Refuelling can only take place from containers of not more than 20 litres capacity. All containers must be effectively sealed until needed for immediate use to prevent spillage. All containers must be effectively sealed or removed before the crew may re-enter the vehicle. 17. MEDICAL Will be carried out by Act Fast Training

PENALTIES Consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs by Competing Crew or crew members during or no less than 10 hours prior to the start of the event Dangerous Driving Short Cutting the course Crew failing to attend drivers briefing Jumping the start: Causing direct disadvantage to another competitor. i.e.: failing to allow a faster competitor to pass up to and including Exclusion up to and including Exclusion up to and including Exclusion may be referred to Stewards Prologue 1 minute Event proper 5 minutes 1 st offence Pull in to pits for Stop/Go Penalty 2 nd offence Pull in to pits for Stop/Go Penalty plus 2 minute time penalty 3 rd offence Exclusion from the event Plus any penalties imposed by the Event Director and or Stewards of this meeting. ALCOHOL, DRUGS AND OTHER SUBSTANCES Any holder of a CAMS Competition or Officials licence (or equivalent licence issued by another ASN) may be tested for the presence of drugs (or other banned substances) and subject to a penalty(ies) for a breach in accordance with the CAMS Anti-Doping Policy and/or the CAMS Illicit Drugs in Sport (Safety Testing) Policy as published on the CAMS website. Consumption of alcohol in the paddock, pits or any section of the competition venue/course under the control of the Officials is forbidden until all competition is concluded each day. Accordingly, any holder of a CAMS Competition or Officials licence (or equivalent licence issued by another ASN) may also be tested for the presence of alcohol by a CAMS Accredited Testing Official (CATO) in accordance with the CAMS Standard Operating Procedure for Breath Alcohol Testing. 19. AWARDS & TROPHIES Trophies will be awarded as follows: 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd outright driver and navigator 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd in class for driver and navigator. Any other trophies will be announced at drivers briefing. 20. RETURNING TO THE PITS Returning to pits to effect repairs to vehicles other then via the Pit Entry gates from the track will only be allowed when: Being towed by a recovery vehicle. Being escorted by a recovery vehicle YOU MAY REJOIN THE RACE FROM PIT EXIT ONLY and will have to re-run the lap you came in on. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 1. NO FUEL will be available at track 8. Meeting will be catered for by from Saturday to Sunday Breakfast will be available Saturday &Sunday morning depending on interest. 2. Speed limit is 10km. In camping area 9. There will be an alcohol and noise curfew at 10pm on Saturday night 3. Non competitors under the age of 16 years are not permitted in the pit areas. Refer CAMS Manual, Appendix T, Part 1, Camping is available at the track. Camp fee of $10 per person applies. Camp fees apply to persons over 12 years 10. The pits will be alcohol and drug free at all times during scrutineering and racing This includes Friday night 11. NO FIREWORKS WILL BE ALLOWED 5. All dogs must be on a leash at all times 12. If you damage fencing please report it to Event Director or Event Secretary. If reported in the correct manner the Club will repair damage at no cost to the entrant if deemed no fault of the driver, but club will not pay for wilful damage to property 6. No burning of crank cases 13. There will be no rubbish bins provided, so please take all rubbish, cans, etc. home, Thank you 7. Cans are preferred by landowner please no bottles 14. No trikes or bikes allowed PLEASE NOTE: Any person found abusing the venue, eg. Doing wheelies, spinning wheels etc. will be excluded from the event. All competitors are responsible for crew and vehicles (being competition vehicles or not). We have this venue under the condition that the Spencer Gulf Off Road Association will leave the grounds as they found them. No misconduct will be tolerated whatsoever Gate to venue will not be open till 5pm Friday 19 th June 2017 Breathalyser equipment may be in attendance at this event and breathalysing may occur.
