Service reset: Year 1995~1999 When the Oil Service or Inspection Time is due, the odometer would display flickering warning signs (such as OEL / OIL, INSP1, or INSP2) while ignition ON.

3 It reminds the driver has to visit local garages or repair shops for service maintenance. 19 On Audi 2008 and newer model, the service reset indicator will display on instrument panel and audio panel. And, you can see next service interval and mileage on audio panel. The difference between old model and these newer models is mileage counting. There are 2 ways of mileage count: one is oil mileage, and the other is maximum value mileage. Please do oil reset for both mileage count separately. is 1. To reset oil time and mileage, please enter channel number 02, no matter the old value or 00000, please input new value to reset oil service. 2. To reset maximum value mileage, please enter channel number 53 (distance from inspection) and 55 (time from inspection), then input new value to reset time and distance from inspection.
