2 1. General Description Hybrid Direct buried(hybrid DB) microduct, each with low friction performance are suitable for fiber blowing. The microduct is sheathed with two layers. The 1 st layer is made from Polyolefine which provides the duct assembly with more resistance to crush and impact and the 2 nd layer is made from rugged Polyethylene. The Hybrid DB Microduct has ample impact and crush. 2. Performance No permanent damage or deformation to the primary tubing after an applied load at 20mm/minute. primary tubes shall show, under visual examination without magnification no damage and no reduction of diameter greater than 15%. Under visual examination, without magnification, there shall be no damage to the microduct. There shall be no residual deformation greater than 15% of the microduct diameter and no splitting or permanent damage. The imprint of the anvil on the sheath is not considered as mechanical damage. A 6.8kg weight shall be pulled at 500m/min and travel 150mm. An average force of 5 pulls shall be recorded to give a coefficient of friction less than
