According to power engineers data, it is the cable systems that provoke most failures on power stations and lines of power (60% of all cases). Halogen-free and fire resistant cables Wide application of these cables had begun in the mid-80s. It sooner became mandatory in Europe and the United States to install them in hazardous areas and in populous buildings. Most of these low-voltage adjusting cables are manufactured with PVC and, in spite of its fire resistance, release toxic gases and thick smoke, that is hazardous for people and hampering emergency exit search in case of fire. One of the most important characteristics of our cables is that they do not emit toxic gases in case of fire and can also be manufactured from non-combustible materials. Applications: oil refineries, mines, hotels, tunnels, high-rise buildings, hospitals, power plants, data centers, business centers and gathering places and locations with a high risk of fire. The shell of the halogen-free fire-retardant cable is based on a crosslinked polymer. The fire-resistant cables are made from polyolefin plastics group based on a special chemical formula. To prevent the spread of fire fire-resistant and non-flaable glass tape and and ceramic-insulation and sheath are used. These cables are available with or without armour-plating and held a fire point equal to 750 C for 3 hours. Special experiments: all experiments, which are necessary according to Гост ### were conducted at factory laboratories and independent testing centers. Fire retardance test: IEC 60332, GOST R IEC (Figure 1, 5.). Measurement of corrosive gas activity: IEC / and GOST R IEC / Smoke generation during burning test: IEC 61034, IEC GOST R (Figure 3.). Fire resistance test: IEC 60331, GOST R IEC (Figure 2.). Operating temperature: 90 C. Short-circuit temperature: 250 C. Minimum bending radius: Cables for voltage of 0,6 / 1kV - 12hD.
