4 3. Generator Installation Connect the out going cables to the terminals at the bottom of the generator, and elicit the cable from outlet of the bottom of the tower. A) Install the flange on the top of the tower and make 6 pieces M10*55 bolts fasten.

5 B) Install the blades on the hub and make 3 pieces M8*25 bolt fasten. C) Put the hub onto the shaft and make M16 nut fasten, at the same time turn the blades clockwise till the hub connect the shaft tight.

6 D) Install the nose cone on the front of the hub and make one piece M6*40 bolt fasten. E) Connect the cable from the generator to the controller (Before make sure battery and controller cable connected well.)

7 F) Flange drawing. WIND GENERATOR USER S MANUAL Cautions 1. Thank you for purchasing the EW series wind turbine systems. The installation should be done by the experienced technical person. 2. Keep the electrical part (controller/inverter battery) away from corrosive gas and wet environment; 3. Controller should be connected with battery before it connected with wind turbine. 4. Do not open the generator and controller system doing the maintenance without notice or instructions; 5. Installation should be done under no wind weather.

9 4.2 Foundation WIND GENERATOR USER S MANUAL Dig the hole for foundation as per the tower. As the following photo:

10 Put the ground cages into the central foundation and make sure that the ground cages and the bottom boards are put together. Please refer to the following the diagram, the tie-line of axis pin hole on the tower should be matched with the two side foundations. Concrete the foundation with C25 concrete when the ground cages and foundation are placed well. Please refer to the following diagram

11 Position the side ground cages into the side foundation and check the distance between the ring hook and foundation center. When all the ground cages are basically in parallel, concrete can be proceed. Please refer to the following diagram when placing.

The heights of the ground cages and tower foundation should be consistent, so that the balance of pull force among the steel cable when fixing and the adjustment can be proceed easily.

Otherwise, when erecting the tower, the pull force for fixing steal cable might be too tight or too loose which will cause the tower bent-down or downfall. Please put the bottom section of the tower into the tower base, and then insert the pin axis into the base and screw the pin axis. Please refer to the following diagram.

Please connect the hand pulling block (not supplied by us) with one of the steal cable of the corresponding ground cages.

13 Please connect four support steal cables on the top of the support pole, and then connect the two steal cable for side ground cages by U-turnbuckle to the side cages. Each steal cable will be fixed by two clamps and there will be 10 to 20cm length on the end of the steel able. Except for positioning the steel cable of the front ground cage, the ends of all the rest steel cables should be connect to the relevant ground cages. There is no need to tight them deadly. To tight them tightly after the adjustment of the steel cable when the installation is finished. Please refer to the following picture

15 5 Maintenance method Wind generator working environment may in bad conditions, and encounter different kinds of complicated weather conditions, therefore need to regular inspection and maintenance, in order to maintain the system operation normally. 1 Check the tower of wire rope is too loose or too tight, and timely adjustment, especially in the early period and after installation 2. Check all parts connecting cable whether is damaged, the connection point is loose rust, ensure electrical safety 3. In the storm or other bad weather comes before, in order to avoid unpredictable loss occurs, suggest to lie down the tower. P.S: Suggest inspecting the system for every three months. * Picture color may be different with the objects * Manual content if there are changes without prior notice * The inverter has half a year warranty and the host has two years warranty since the purchase date.
