Each is one of the down-wind centrifugal force controlled passive variable pitch wind turbine series (2kW/5kW/10kW/20kW/30kW) designed and manufactured by Huaying wind power company that follows BWEA standard. Product quality has been well controlled following ISO9001 standard. Down-wind.The rotor rotates clockwise if you look down wind.the wind kicks the tower first before kicking the blades. How does HY30 acts for catching wind? HY30 takes advantage of the slewing bearing for support.yawing motor drives the turbine toward wind direction by orders coming from the yawing controller that receives and analyses the signals sent by the dogvane. What s the superiority of variable pitch wind turbines comparing to fixed pitch ones? Safty. The variable pitch wind turbines regulate rotation speed by changing the pitch of the blades. As we know, the power is from wind at the very beginning and then transmitted to mechanical energy by blades then electrical energy by generator. Wind power is limited directly by blades if it s over the rated wind speed to keep the turbine itself safe.mechanical components and electrical system bear less load and act more safely. What s the function of the three hammers on the HY30 wind turbine? While rotation speed increasing, centrifugal force that produced by these hammers drives the blades to change their pitch synchronously though the crank mechanism inside the hub. How the brake system works of the HY30 wind turbine? As a standard configuration,the intelligent brake system shuts off the turbine automatically once the wind speed is over 25m/s or the turbine runs over max rotate speed,grid power outage as well. All the blade then will be forced to turn to feathering pitch angle by a DC motor. What s the installation procedure of the HY30 wind turbine?
