1 Proof Coil Chain Grade 28 Proof coil chain is suitable for use as towing chain, logging,fencing, trailer safety chain, boat anchors, security barriers or other general purposes where chain of high tensile strength is not required. This grade of chain is not to be used for sling chains or lifting chains and is not suitable for use with pocket wheels such as on chain hoists. Limit (Lbs)!/ / / Transport Chain Grade 70 Transport chain has a high strength to weight ratio which makes it ideally suited to the transportation industry for use in load binding and towing. The specifications to which Transport Chain is manufactured are in compliance with D.O.T. regulations. Transport Chain is electrically welded, heat treated, and marked at regular intervals.
