10 BALANCING PROCEDURES 1. To measure the velocity, take at least a minimum of 6 readi ngs around the perimeter of the diffuser. Position the tip as shown on the figure. 2. Take the average value from the measured velocities. 3. Select proper Ak from the table below. 4. Calculate CFM. CFM = Ak x Average Velocity TABLE : Ak FACTOR 10
