Enhanced versatility The Dräger Ponta beam ceiling supply unit was designed to enhance care area efficiency in a number of ways. By getting devices and media supplies off the floor and positioned exactly where you need them, the Dräger supports improved patient access, optimized workspace ergonomics, overall ward hygiene as well as faster cleanup and turnaround times. Integrated lighting for both staff and patients means both added safety and comfort. Together with our C-, E- and S-workstations, the Ponta lets you completely reconfigure any care area within minutes. Custom-built to your specifications Ponta beam systems are available in lengths of 2200, 2800, 3100, 3500 mm. Different shuttle types, supply heads and columns can be combined to provide a high degree of workstation configurability. Workstation C The C-workstations are designed for maximum utilization of space. The equipment pole and carrier feature a very slim design. Medical devices can be positioned anywhere along the length of the beam. A total load of up to 150 kg is possible. Gas, electricity and IT terminals are located in the beam. Workstation E The E-workstations provide convenient, ergonomic positioning of terminals for medical gases, electricity and IT within the column or head. This supports efficient equipment exchange and saves precious time during transport or critical situations. Additional terminals can be located in the beam. It can handle loads of up to 120 kg. A pneumatic brake prevents unintentional movement. Workstation S The S-workstations maximize positioning flexibility by incorporating a rotating arm. It allows the workstation to be positioned to the side or head of the bed. This workstation is rated for loads of up to 100 kg. Both shuttle and arm include a pneumatic brake. Terminals for medical gases, electricity and IT are conveniently positioned and additional terminals can be located in the beam.
