To all suppliers and potential suppliers of goods to the Government Printing Works The Government Printing Works would like to warn members of the public against an organised syndicate(s) scamming unsuspecting members of the public and claiming to act on behalf of the Government Printing Works. One of the ways in which the syndicate operates is by requesting quotations for various goods and services on a quotation form with the logo of the Government Printing Works. Once the official order is placed the syndicate requesting upfront payment before delivery will take place. Once the upfront payment is done the syndicate do not deliver the goods and service provider then expect payment from Government Printing Works. Government Printing Works condemns such illegal activities and encourages service providers to confirm the legitimacy of purchase orders with GPW SCM, prior to processing and delivery of goods. 3 IMPORTANT I nfarmai,o-w from Government Printing Works Dear Valued Customers, Government Printing Works has implemented rules for completing and submitting the electronic Adobe Forms when you, the customer, submits your notice request. Please take note of these guidelines when completing your form. STAATSKOERANT, 30 OKTOBER 2015 No GPW Business Rules 1. No hand written notices will be accepted for processing, this includes Adobe forms which have been completed by hand.,-..,. 2. Notices can only be submitted in Adobe electronic form format to the submission address This means that any notice submissions not on an Adobe electronic form that are submitted to this mailbox will be rejected. National or Provincial gazette notices, where the Z95 or Z95Prov must be an Adobe form but the notice content (body) will be an attachment. 3. Notices brought into GPW by "walk -in" customers on electronic media can only be submitted in Adobe electronic form format. This means that any notice submissions not on an Adobe electronic form that are submitted by the customer on electronic media will be rejected. National or Provincial gazette notices, where the Z95 or Z95Prov must be an Adobe form but the notice content (body) will be an attachment. 4. All customers who walk in to GPW that wish to submit a notice that is not on an electronic Adobe form will be routed to the Contact Centre where the customer will be taken through the completion of the form by a GPW representative. Where a customer walks into GPW with a stack of hard copy notices delivered by a messenger on behalf of a newspaper the messenger must be referred back to the sender as the submission does not adhere to the submission rules. 5. All notice submissions that do not comply with point 2 will be charged full price for the notice submission. 6. The current cut -off of all Gazette's remains unchanged for all channels. (Refer to the GPW website for submission deadlines Incorrectly completed forms and notices submitted in the wrong format will be rejected to the customer to be corrected and resubmitted. Assistance will be available through the Contact Centre should help be required when completing the forms. ( or 8. All re- submissions by customers will be subject to the above cut -off times. 9. All submissions and re- submissions that miss the cut -off will be rejected to the customer to be submitted with a new publication date. 10. Information on forms will be taken as the primary source of the notice to be published. Any instructions that are on the body or covering letter that contradicts the notice form content will be ignored. You are therefore advised that effective from Monday, 18 May 2015 should you not comply with our new rules of engagement, all notice requests will be rejected by our new system. DO attach documents separately in your to GPW. (In other words, your should have an Adobe Form plus proof of payment -2 separate attachments - where notice content is applicable, it should also be a 3rd separate attachment) DO specify your requested publication date. DON'T submit request as a single PDF containing all other documents, i.e. form, proof of payment & notice content, it will be FAILED by our new system. DON'T print and scan the electronic Adobe form. DON'T send queries or RFQ's to the submit.egazette mailbox. DON'T send bad quality documents to GPW. (Check that documents are clear and can be read) DO send us the electronic Adobe form. (1) The Government Gazette is published every week on Friday, and the closing time for the acceptance of notices which have to appear in the Government Gazette on any particular Friday, is 15:00 on the preceding Friday. Should any Friday coincide with a public holiday, the date of publication of the Government Gazette and the closing time of the acceptance of notices will be published in the Government Gazette from time to time. (2) Applications for Public Road Carrier Permits Closing times for the acceptance of notices: Notices must be handed in not later than 15:00 on the Friday, two calendar weeks before the date of publication. (3) The copy for a separate Government Gazette must be handed in not later than three calendar weeks before date of publication. 2. (1) Copy of notices received after closing time will be held over for publication in the next Government Gazette. (2) Amendment or changes in copy of notices cannot be undertaken unless instructions are received before 10:00 on Mondays.

(5) In the case of cancellations a refund of the cost of a notice will be considered only if the instruction to cancel has been received on or before the stipulated closing time as indicated in paragraph 1. Approval of notices 3. Any notices other than legal notices are subject to the approval of the Government Printer, who may refuse acceptance or further publication of any notice. The Government Printer indemnified against liability 4. The Government Printer will assume no liability in respect of (1) any delay in the publication of a notice or publication of such notice on any date other than that stipulated by the advertiser; (2) erroneous classification of a notice, or the placement of such notice in any section or under any heading other than the section or heading stipulated by the advertiser; (3) any editing, revision, omission, typographical errors or errors resulting from faint or indistinct copy. (4) spelling mistakes that may occur because of forms that were submitted with illegible handwriting. Liability of advertiser 5. Advertisers will be held liable for any compensation and costs arising from any action which may be instituted against the Government Printer in consequence of the publication of any notice. Copy 6. Copy of notices must be typed on one side of the paper only and may not constitute part of any covering letter or document. 7. At the top of any copy, and set well apart from the notice, the following must be stated: (1) The kind of notice. Please note: Prospective advertisers are urgently requested to clearly indicate under which headings their advertisements or notices should be inserted in order to prevent such notices/advertisements from being wrongly placed. (2) The heading under which the notice is to appear. (3) The rate (e.g. Fixed tariff rate or Word count rate ) applicable to the notice, and the cost of publication. 8. All proper names and surnames must be clearly legible, surnames being underlined or typed in capital letters. In the event of a name being incorrectly printed as a result of indistinct writing, the notice will be republished only upon payment of the cost of a new insertion.

With effect from 1 JANUARY 2001 no notice will be accepted for publication unless the cost of the insertion(s) is prepaid in CASH or by BANK GUARANTEED CHEQUE or POSTAL ORDERS. REVENUE STAMPS AND FRANKED REVENUE STAMPS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 10. (1) The cost of a notice must be calculated by the advertiser in accordance with (a) (b) the List of Fixed Tariff Rates; or where the fixed tariff rate does not apply, the word count rate. (2) Where there is any doubt about the cost of publication of a notice, and in the case of copy in excess of words, an enquiry, should be mailed to info.egazette@gpw.gov.za, before publication. 11. Overpayment resulting from miscalculation on the part of the advertiser of the cost of publication of a notice will not be refunded, unless the advertiser furnishes adequate reasons why such miscalculation occurred. In the event of underpayments, the difference will be recovered from the advertiser, and the notice(s) will not be published until such time as the full cost of such publication has been duly paid in cash or by bank-guaranteed cheque or postal orders. 12. In the event of a notice being cancelled, a refund will be made only if no cost regarding the placing of the notice has been incurred by the Government Printing Works. 13. The Government Printer reserves the right to levy an additional charge in cases where notices, the cost of which has been calculated in accordance with the List of Fixed Tariff Rates, are subsequently found to be excessively lengthy or to contain overmuch or complicated tabulation. Proof of publication 14. Copies of the Government Gazette which may be required as proof of publication, may be ordered from the Government Printer at the ruling price. The Government Printer will assume no liability for any failure to post such Government Gazette(s) or for any delay in despatching it/them.

IN AN APPLICATION FOR A PRESERVATION ORDER IN TERMS OF SECTION 38 OF THE PREVENTION OF ORGANISED CRIME ACT 121 OF 1998 (POCA) Notice in terms of section 39 of the Prevention of Organised Crime Act 121 of 1998 (POCA) 1 This notice is addressed to Madimetja Solomon Somo (Somo) of plot number 1 Apollo road, Olifantsfontein, Gauteng and/ or House number Ivory Park, Midrand in Gauteng and all other persons who have an interest in the silver grey Toyota Hilux motor vehicle with registration number RNK 173 GP, chassis number AHT31UNE and engine number 1RZ , (The Property). Take notice that: 2 The National Director of Public Prosecutions (National Director) has obtained a preservation of property order (the order), a copy of which is attached to this notice, in terms of section 38(2) of the POCA in respect of the property; 3If you have an interest in the property, you should understand that it is now at risk. You are advised to obtain legal advice on whether your interest can be protected and, if so, on how to protect it; 4 You are notified that the National Director will, within 90 days of publication of this notice, apply to the High Court under section 48 of the POCA for an order declaring the property forfeit to the state. The order will remain in force until the application for a forfeiture order is finalised, and until any forfeiture order that is made is satisfied; 5 If you intend to oppose the application for a forfeiture order, or you intend to apply for an order excluding your interest from a forfeiture order in respect of the property, you must enter an appearance in terms of the order. The requirements for such an appearance are set out in the order and are also dealt with in sections 39(3), (4) and (5) of the POCA. An appearance must comply with these requirements; 6Your attention is specifically drawn to the 14-day time limit prescribed in section 39(4) for the entry of an appearance referred to in paragraph 4 above; 7 If you enter an appearance in terms of the order you will be entitled to be given 14 days notice of the application by the applicant for a forfeiture order in respect of the property; 8 If you fail to enter an appearance in terms of the order or to comply with the above requirements, you will not be given notice of the application for a forfeiture order and you will not be entitled to appear at the hearing of the application. In such a case, the court may grant a default order forfeiting the property to the state under section 53 of the POCA; 9 You may, on good cause shown (including the non-availability of any other suitable remedy to protect your legitimate rights or interests), on 3 days notice in urgent instances and at least 7 days notice in other instances to the applicant, and within 8 days of becoming aware of the order, apply for reconsideration of the order; 10 You are specifically advised that even if you intend to apply for reconsideration of the preservation order in this case, you must, in addition, comply with paragraphs 4 and 5 above if you intend to oppose the forfeiture application at a later date. Failure to do so can result in a forfeiture order being granted against the property by default and without further notice to you. 11 Whenever this order states that you must deliver or serve any notice, affidavit or other process document on the applicant,
