2 Waste treatment and removal Rates AFTER BREAK-DOWN, ALL EXHIBITORS MUST LEAVE THEIR STAND AREA CLEAR OF ALL WASTE (CARPETS, WOODEN PANELS, DOCUMENTATION, STICKERS etc.). ACCORDING TO LAW OF 12 JULY 1992, EXHIBITORS AND THEIR SUB-CONTRAC- TORS ARE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REMOVAL OF THEIR WASTE FROM THE SITE AND MUST ENSURE THAT THE WASTE S ULTIMATE DESTINATION CONFORMS WITH NEW ENVIRONMENT AND SELECTIVE SORTING REGULATIONS. TO FACILITATE THIS THEY SHOULD CALL ON EUREXPO TECHNICAL SERVICES WHO WILL TAKE CARE OF WASTE TREATMENT AND REMOVAL ACCORDING TO CURRENT REGULATIONS. To ORDER Complete the «Removal of waste from stand» form if the surface area of your stand is less than 200m 2 or the «Skip hire» form Deadline for orders: ATTENTION The removal and treatment of waste left behind deliberately by exhibitors or their sub-contractors will be charged to the exhibitor at a rate of e 400 (exc. VAT) per m3 with a minimum charge of e 800 (exc. VAT). A supervision system will be implemented during the entire duration of breakdown under the authority of a bailiff. THE ROOF STRUCTURE OF SOME OF EUREXPO S HALLS IS DESIGNED FOR THE SUSPEN- SION OF SIGNAGE, LIGHT RIGS AND DECORATIVE FEATURES. These objects are: Suspended using steel drop wires, linked to the structure joints by steel shackles and ending in a loop, Subject to very strict regulations, Suspended with a horizontal tolerance of 50cm to 1m and vertical tolerance of 10cm depending on the hall and weight of the object. The structures from which objects cannot be suspended are: PASSAGES 23, 3-33, 45, 46, 6-66, 67, 78, GALLERY B, the entrance to GALLERY C The perimeters of the halls over a 3m width The mobile partition area in HALL 66 and between HALLS 9 and 10 The height limit for suspension from the roof is: 4.50m in GALLERY A and 5.50m in GALLERY C 5m in HALLS 3, 33, 5 and 8 This suspension service is subject to the performance of a feasibility study. 10 Parking permits rates You must have a parking permit to gain access to the Eurexpo Exhibitors car park during the Exhibition. Exhibitors may park close to the exhibition hall entrances. Access to this car park is free during build-up and break-down. Permits which are ordered but not used will not be refunded or exchanged. REMINDER: Your registration fee includes 1 parking permit. They will be sent, by post, to registered exhibitors who have no outstanding invoices on 23/01/09. Otherwise they may be collected on build-up day, 21/02/09 ADDITIONAL PARKING Permits If you wish to order additional permits, please do so as soon as possible. 12 Te c h n i c a l Se r v i c e s ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS Key Point Power supply connected 4 days before exhibition opens: Saturday 21 February 2009 Who to call Exhibitors Department FOR 3 TO 20 KW ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS Your stand is fitted with an electrical terminal called a «service terminal». The specific features of this service terminal are as follows: A liquid crystal screen A smart card which: is personalised (stand name and number) indicates the power requested stores the operating parameters (amperage, power used, operating times) is configurable according to requirements A detection and warning system for all electrical malfunctions. How to connect up to the services terminal To connect up to this terminal, use: The two16 A single-phase sockets (or 3kW maximum per socket) The 32A three-phase socket (or 20kW maximum) A P17 type male socket is required for connection to the three-phase socket. ATTENTION : this socket must be ordered before the exhibition opens or bought on the spot from the Exhibitors Reception Desk Various types of connection are possible, using 22 V single-phase and 380 V three-phase For any technical problems, report to the exhibitors technical information desk with your smart card. 2 singlephase sockets 220V/50Hz 16A - 3kW Individual circuit-breaker for each socket Information screen Smart card General circuitbreaker P17 sockets 32A (for <20kW) or three-phase 380V/50Hz and single-phase 220V/50Hz to be used upwards of 6kW FOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS OF MORE THAN 20 KW A fuse box fitted with a terminal will be installed. IMPORTANT: You have two options for service terminal power availability: a) «daytime» availability (exhibition opening hours) b) round-the-clock availability (24 hours a day) LEGISLATION Each exhibitor requiring power supplies on his/her stand must have an independent electrical connection. (Article T35, chapter VIII of the Safety Regulations concerning risks of fire or panic in public buildings decree dated 25/06/1980). SAFETY Safety personnel must be able to access the terminal at all times. RESPONSIBILITY The exhibitor remains responsible for the rented terminal. Penalties will be imposed and the power supply cut off in the event of fraud or failure to pay. 21 Telephone/Internet services DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES TELEPHONE Eurexpo can supply a rented wired telephone line for your stand, to which you can connect an analogue telephone, a fax machine or a payment terminal (not supplied by Eurexpo). 700 prepaid call units are included with the service. An analogue telephone will be supplied throughout the line rental period (to be collected from Exhibitors Reception during buildup). Should additional call units be required, a top-up package may be ordered from Exhibitors Reception during the show. Telephone lines are connected the day before the show opens. INTERNET Since September 2007 Eurexpo has been equipped to deliver Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the exhibition centre. We offer secure access with a guaranteed bit rate of 128k, 256k or 512k, depending on your needs. Our technicians will configure your computers free of charge. Access to our wired broadband Internet is also available with the same choice of bit rates: 128k, 256k or 512k. Even though configuration is not included in the charge, we advise you to order this service. The wired broadband Internet will be accessible the day before the show opens. The Wi-Fi Internet will be accessible from the start of build-up. For technical and security reasons, our wired and Wi-Fi Internet access is designed for a single computer.
