2 POWER BOX Available & standard accessories On all PBox 400amp and 250amp power distribution units with in and/or out PowerSyntax SPX 480amp panel source and drain single pole connectors, the PowerSyntax SPX can be equipped on request with a complete series of accessories enhancing practicality and safety on the connectors. SPX Chain Pilot Icon indicates items where Chain Pilot is available on request Connector with pilot microswitch, for protective electrical interlocking (or additional controls) through a chain of simultaneously operating connectors. PATENT PENDING SyntaxLock Icon indicates items where SyntaxLock is available as an optional accessory A quick release system for the mechanical safety lock of the SPX PowerSyntax connectors. PATENT PENDING IP67 covers Icon indicates items where IP67 covers are available as an optional accessory IP67 waterproof protection of drain and source PowerSyntax single pole connectors. The drain connector cover can be equipped with SyntaxLock for quick release of the safety lock on panel source connectors IP2X Icon indicates items drain contact lock is standard accessory On the Drain connectors, the IP2X protection is obtained through a patented safety lock of the sharp-pointed insulated cap. This mechanical lock prevents improper pushing the contact inwards with fingers. PATENTED Power box assembling features Panels Made of black extruded PVC (thickness 10mm), B1 classification (Flame Retardant Test mark PA-III DIN 4102 part 1), resistant to mechanical stress (connectors insertion and disconnection cycles), stable to temperature changes and with high dielectric strength (39 Kv/mm). Watertight polycarbonate covers with stainless steel springs and clamping knobs for an IP66 protection on the components. Neon lamps for voltage check on each plug or connector. Identification of components with white writings on black labels. Plugs and sockets are fitted with carriage bolts and lock nuts (to prevent violations). Crimp connections with insulating wire ring terminals or pipe terminals in PA6 polyamide. Internal wiring made with flame retardant PVC cables, according to IEC 332.3A regulations. All cables are carefully routed and tied to prevent mechanical strain on components. Conformity to IEC standard regulations, for electrical compliance in all countries of the European Union. PowerBox technical files The technical files (provided on request) include: CEE conformity declaration (EN ), inspection report, mechanical drawing, electrical conn-ection pattern, warnings and instructions for use. Production 100% custom In addition to our standard range, custom solutions provide an almost limitless range of possibilities.
