2 Motorized pipette line Stress-free pipetting The Acura electro is designed to be comfortable in the hands of all users, with or without gloves. The Acura electro models are making electronic pipetting simpler than ever. They include a microprocessor-controlled motor and a quick-change rechargeable battery. Intuitive based control software allows for quick access to each working mode and changing between volume ranges. To increase the pipette's flexibility, one electronic control unit can accommodate other volumetric modules (each available separately). Charging stand Supplied with each Acura electro basic package, this stand can charge and store up to three electronic pipettes or battery packs at once. 5 Interchangeable volumetric modules All Acura electro pipettes are designed to accept other volumetric assemblies. Before the first use of a new volumetric module, the instrument only needs to be calibrated once. After calibration, performance data is permanently retained in instrument's memory. Maxi pipette protection The 935 macromodels can utilize a filter to protect instrument against liquid penetration and contamination. Located in the nozzle, this filter is easy to remove and replace. Optional adapter-nozzle on 5 ml model allows fitting of Pasteur pipettes in addition to polypropylene tips (order accessory separately). Easy to maintain The pipette's construction minimizes maintenance and eliminates the need for disassembly tools for the volumetric modules. For sterilization, the volumetric modules can be autoclaved at 121 C/250 F. Calibration Built-in warning systems inform the user of any volume deviations. Calibration adjustments are performed by using the instrument's keyboard. Powerful intelligence The "no gimmick" intuitive control software eliminates the need for special training.
