Consumer Product Safety Commission, CPSC) 回收台灣及大陸製產品的公告 Nokia Recalls Tablet Travel Chargers Due to Electrocution Hazard The manufacturer Nokia Inc., of Sunnyvale, Calif. recalled the product Travel Charger Kits for Nokia Lumia 2520 Tablets for about 500 units. The plastic cover on the charger s exchangeable plugs can come loose and separate, exposing internal components that pose an electrocution hazard if touched while the plug remains in a live socket. No injuries have been reported. The product was manufactured in China and sold at AT&T and Verizon Wireless authorized dealers and retailers nationwide and online at att.com and Verizon.com from January 2014 to May 2014 for about $50. June 18, 2014 Reebok-CCM Recalls Throat Collars Due to Laceration Hazard The manufacturer Sport Maska Inc. of Montreal, Quebec, Canada and the distributor Reebok-CCM of Montpelier, Vt. recalled the product Reebok TCPRE Senior and Junior Goalie Throat Collars for about 3,300 units in the United States and 8,100 units in Canada. Throat collars have been decertified by BNQ in Canada due to the risk that a skate blade could penetrate the collar, posing a laceration hazard to the throat. Reebok-CCM has received no reports of product-related injuries or complaints from consumers or retailers. The product was manufactured in China and sold at Retail stores nationwide from April 2012 through May 2014, for about $50 for the SR model and $40 for the JR model. June 19, 2014 Linear Expands Recall of Personal Emergency Reporting System Transmitters Due to Battery Signal Failure 2

3 The manufacturer Linear LLC, of Carlsbad, Calif. recalled the product Personal Emergency Reporting System (PERS) Transmitters for about 175,000 units (an additional 48,000 previously recalled in December 2013.) The batteries used in the transmitters can fail to emit a low battery warning leading the user to believe the transmitter is functioning and not generate a warning. Linear received one report of a transmitter that failed to operate. No injuries have been reported. The product was manufactured in China and sold at Independent PERS distributors and dealers nationwide from June 2008 through July 2011 for about $45. June 19, 2013 Stile Products Recalls Tern Folding Bicycles Due to Fall Hazard; Frames Can Crack The distributor Stile Products Inc., of Lakewood, Calif. and the manufacturer Taicang A&I Medical Appliances Co., of Jiangsu, China recalled the product Tern Folding Bicycles for about 650 units in the U.S. and about 20 units in Canada. The bike s frame can crack at the hinge on the top tube, posing a fall hazard. No incidents or injuries reported in the U.S. The firm has received 11 reports of the bicycle frames cracking including five reports of minor scrapes and bruises from outside of the U.S. The product was manufactured in China and sold exclusively at Authorized Stile/Tern dealers nationwide from November 2011 to April 2014 for between $600 and $1250. June 24, 2014 Coravin Recalls to Repair Wine Access System Due to Laceration Hazard The importer Coravin Inc., of Burlington, Mass. recalled the product Wine Access System for about 65,000 units in the U.S. and about 640 units in Canada. The system can cause wine bottles to break during pressurization, posing a risk of lacerations. Coravin has received 13 reports of bottles breaking, including one in which a bottle burst into four pieces and resulted in an injury involving two chipped teeth and a laceration that required stitches, four in which the bottles cracked and leaked, and eight in which bottles broke into two pieces. The product was manufactured in China and sold at Coravin.com and other online retailers and at wine shops from July 2013 to June 2014 for about $300. June 25, 2014 Winco Recalls Contraband 24 Canister Shell Fireworks Kit Due to Impact, Burn Hazards The importer Winco Fireworks International LLC, of Prairie Village, Kan. recalled the product Canister shell fireworks kits for about 4,500 kits. The shell can blow up in the tube during firing, posing impact and burn hazards to the user and bystanders. The firm has received two reports of the firing tubes being too narrow, including one report of a shell blowing up in a tube and causing minor burns and cuts to the legs of a store employee. The product was manufactured in China and sold at Pyro City and other fireworks retailers from February 2014 to June 2014 for about $80.
