1 Tutorial 1) A 2900 RPM, 380V, 3 phase, 50Hz, 2 pole, delta connected induction motor has a stator resistance of 0.2 Ω. The rotor resistance referred to the stator is 0.3 Ω. The stator and rotor inductive reactance combined is 10 Ω at 50Hz. The hysteresis and eddy current effects can be ignored. Calculate the stator copper loss, rotor copper loss, air gap power, developed power and the developed torque.
