4 In response to the Military s demand for an ultra lightweight, battery powered emergency dental unit, Aseptico has developed the AEU-14CF Expedition Field Dental System. Weighing under 30 pounds, the Expedition is light and compact enough to be carried in a backpack and deployed into the field of operation along with the medical support team. This unique electric dental system can be powered via AC power source, 12V or 24V vehicle battery, or from its two rechargeable battery packs. For maximum flexibility in the field, the battery packs may be recharged using the included solar panel, vehicle battery, or AC power source. 8 The latest in a series of technological advances in portable dental radiography, ARU-HF70D weighs just 10 lbs (4.5 kg) and is a high frequency, full-wave rectified X-ray unit.
