5 01 What Voorbereidingen do I need for the vooraf installation? Wired Internet access Maxem has to receive an IP address via HCP. This IP address may not be in the following range: /16, /16, and /24. Compatibility may change over time. See the website for the current overview of compatible charging stations. Measuring other components using of charging stations Maxem is a control system that regulates the load of the charging station. Maxem offers an intelligent layer of protection on top of the circuit breakers. This is done in the following way: When an over current is measured on the main grid connection, the power of the charging stations is immediately adjusted downwards. When the over current is too high, Maxem is able to pause one or more charging stations until more capacity is available again. Additional components, such as solar panels or heat pumps, can be measured separately by Maxem. The kwhmeters that Maxem uses are supplied on order. A separate manual is available for this on the website Therefore it is possible to fuse the charging stations at a higher rate than normal. All charging stations can be fused at their maximum power capacity, but a fuse of a single charging station may never be higher than the capacity of the main grid connection. 8 9

9 04 Connecting charging stations H. Set the address of the kwhmeter to address 100.
