The letter noted that pension contributions in the amount of $6.90 per hour become effective July 1, Since wages do not go into effect until August 1, 2010, the $.85 reallocated to pension from the wages likewise does not go into effect until August 1, The original $.50 per hour pension contribution does, however,go into effect on July 1, Below are the correct pension contribution increases and the dates they go into effect.
