DRAINS Pipe nipple (sizes -12) or tank flange (sizes 1-1) welded to the lowest point of the housing scroll. INLET FILTER Filters are availale with a choice of three element types: wire mesh, hi-flow polyester, and ultra-synthetic. High-efficiency filter is flange-mounted. 4 WHEELS OPEN RADIAL WHEEL DESIN Either welded steel, aluminum or stainless steel wheel construction is availale in straight radial wheel design. 5 PERFORMANE USIN PERFORMANE URVES Direct-drive performance is shown for the maximum diameter and width wheel availale (solid line), and the minimum wheel size availale (dashed line) per housing and inlet size. Performance points can e selected in etween these curves for a custom wheel size to match specific operating points. These selections can e made in Fan-to- to fine-tune the required wheel diameter and width required., 9, or 1-digit model numer designates the housing size, outlet size, inlet size, and wheel diameter code. Multiply the required static pressure at conditions y the appropriate factors in harts I, II, and III to otain corrected pressure for lower selection. Pressure and HP will e reduced at conditions y the inverse of these factors. Multiply one factor y the other if temperature, altitude, and rarefication are non-standard. For example: If the installation is located at an altitude of feet, the gas temperature is 3 F., and the inlet pressure is 15 W, the correction factor is 1.73 [1.1 x 1.3 x 1.].
