1 100 SAN_SIRO DESIGN BY NORBERT GEELEN A name with prestige "San Siro" is the common name of the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan well-chosen for an exceptional table series. One of the table top designs resembles the layout of this sports stadium. The asymmetry of a pebble stone was another source of inspiration. An elegant and slender table series featuring tapered, solid wooden legs. The table top is either supported by a crossbeam which has a seamless, organic transition to the legs, or is directly screwed into the legs by means of metal brackets. Together with his partner Robert Kilders, he founded the design studio bert&bert in Since 2005, Norbert Geelen feels at home both in his German office in Straelen and in his Milan studio. 2 VARIATIONS 100 TABLE WITH FOUR-LEGGED FRAME The tables having either a rectangular or stadium-shaped table top have their frame positioned on the sides. The smaller-sized tables featuring square, pebble or round table tops boast a cross frame. The frame is made of solid beech, and available in two sizes depending on the table s depth. 110 COFFEE TABLE WITH FOUR-LEGGED FRAME The four-legged tables also come as coffee table with a medium frame height, available with square, pebble or round table tops. 120 OCCASIONAL TABLE WITH FOUR-LEGGED FRAME The occasional table has the lowest frame height, featuring a four-legged frame and available with square, pebble or round table tops. These variations can be combined with the somewhat higher coffee table for an eye-catching effect SAN_SIRO

3 150 TABLE WITH LEGS AND BRACKETS Through the elegant metal brackets, the transition between the solid beech legs and table top is seamless. As an added advantage, the legs are directly screwed into the table top, resulting in a slender look. TABLE TOPS Table tops with a 3-layered chipboard core, and featuring either a HPL or real wood veneer surface are also available in a flame retardant finish. The components are all fitted, tested, labelled, and documented by skilled and trained personnel.
